RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF THE INDIANA GRADUATE WORKERS COALITION - UNITED ELECTRICAL WORKERS
This resolution is co-sponsored by Councilmembers Piedmont-Smith, Flaherty, Rollo, and Rosenbarger. It supports the rights of lndiana University graduate student workers to unionize and strike. It urges the Indiana University administration to recognize the Indiana Graduate Workers Coalition - United Electrical Workers as the chosen representative for graduate workers and to enter into good faith negotiations with IGWC-UE. It directs the City Clerk to send copies of this resolution to specified Indiana University officials.
