Web Form: Hello, There is water coming up from under the paved surface of the city hall parking lot. The water leak is located in the east-most visitor parking spot -- where the drain is located. I have observed this constant flow of water multiple times, over multiple months. It is currently being used as a bird bath... Melissa O'Neill

We have identified a leak in the irrigation system that is the probable cause of water coming up in the parking lot. We will continue to monitor that area of the parking lot, but are closing the ticket on this problem. Thank you for bringing this problem to our attention. J. D. Suspect that water is ground water due to ground being saturated. To confirm this, we will have Utilities perform a chlorine test. This will definitively tell whither it is a leaking water line, or ground water. The results of this will determine further actions. J. D. Boruff City of Bloomington Public Works
