Other: I had my pointer mix puppy at the Ferguson Dog Park today, February 16, 2020. She was enjoying her time playing with all the other dogs until a Doberman came in and was instantly playing too rough. The other dog was pushing mine into the mud and biting at her legs. She is okay but just wanted to make you guys aware of the situation since myself and another person had to leave the dog park due to this Doberman playing too rough and their owner not stepping in.

Noell, Thank you for sharing your concerns. Ferguson Dog Park is a no fee, unsupervised park and unfortunately incidents involving irresponsible pet owners happen occasionally. If your pointer puppy meets the weight rules for the "small dog: fenced area it might make sense for her to use it. Also, we always encourage dog park users to call Animal Control at 812-349-3492 if issues re: uncontrolled pet behavior continue. Respectfully, Dave Williams Operations Director
