GRAVEL AND UTILITY TRUCKS ARE LEFT ON THIS STREET WHEN THE CREW ISN'T WORKING HERE. THE GRAVEL DUST CAUSES A MESS. HER CAR IS DIRTY, AND SHE CAN'T OPEN HER WINDOWS BECAUSE IT GETS HER HOUSE DIRTY.
Mr. Stidd called and said that the road at 5717 S. Rogers was supposed to have been cleaned up by CBU contractor, but it is extremely dusty and dirty.
MOUND OF DIRT LEFT IN YARD , WOULD LIKE YARD REPAIRED
Mr. Sutherland is frustrated and perplexed, that the City has the nerve to take on so many construction projects at one time, especially when all the students are back in town. He had to detour 4 different times just to get to work on the west side of town. He thinks this is very poor planning on the part of the City, and he'd like to know how all of this construction can be scheduled to take place at the same time?
Rockport between 37 and Country Club has become very hazardous during the detour. Tapp Rd construction has taken far too long for the size of the project. Its not a long section of road. why hasn't this project been finished and reopened? If there's a valid problem, city or county should monitor the traffic.
The sewer in the alley behind 304 N. Bryan St. was dug up by private contractor. After the work was completed, the hole was improperly filled in, which has caused a sink hole.
Citizen says City has shown poor planning by closing off College Ave right when all the students have come back, and when 4th street is also closed for a project. Why couldn't this have been done earlier in the summer when traffic wasn't so bad? College is one of the busiest streets in town and this should have been anticipated and planned better. Note: This is FYI only, citizen did not want a response.

Steve does not understand why contruction projects around campus and the kirkwood area begin exactly when the students return to school. Why don't they start in the summer when there is much less traffic?
