We have had multiple incidents on our street due to people driving too fast and visibility issues for drivers coming out of E Allendale Road. A car flipped and landed at the entrance of Barkley Square apartments, a car went off road striking the corner of a carport and edge of a house, a woman was killed after striking a moving vehicle and most recently a young woman struck our walnut tree at the edge of our driveway suffering a concussion and a broken arm. Totaled her car and the other driver’s car was damaged badly but her airbags seemed to have prevented injury. We, as well as our neighbors have had to replace our mailboxes several times. It is a matter of time before someone on the sidewalk is struck and killed. I have not seen police stopping speeders on our street for some time. I believe some type of traffic calming devices would help as no one drives the 30 mph speed limit on this road.

See case #185188. Was there any discussion about making 12th Street one-way? After football and basketball games, traffic is horrendous, and food delivery vehicles speed down the street in both directions at all hours. Ideally, you would remove on-street parking and install a protected bike lane in its place. That would give more space for two-lane car traffic. Or keep the on-street parking, add a protected bike lane, and use what is left for one-way vehicle traffic. If you make it one-way west, then the fire trucks could use it when they are hurrying to a fire. Please consider this. Seriously.

There has been a fence at this intersection built that if stopped @1st and turning onto Walker St you have to be atleast 2 car lengths past sign to see traffic coming to make turn safely. Please check this out. Not even sure they had permit.

The intersection of W Watson and Madison, in the Broadview Neighborhood, is used all the time to cut traffic and miss the light. Cars don't stop. They fly through the intersection. Can no pass through signs go up, but also a speed bump on either side? A speed bump on each side of the intersection would stop people from all sides. The neighbors also fly through the stop signs there.

People consistently drive like maniacs exiting town from West Kirkwood Avenue heading west. At all hours of the day, including the evening and middle of the night, I hear people revving their engines like they’re on a racetrack—on a residential street. Considering there’s a school zone less than a half-mile down the road from where I live, it seems like there should either be better enforcement or more traffic-calming infrastructure in place.

There is a blind curve coming from the apartments into Gentry Honours. There are children playing frequently and people typically speed through this section, making it dangerous for pedestrians crossing. Would like to see speed bumps implemented coming into the neighborhood to force reduced speeds for pedestrian safety.

Orange-red sporty car with louvers on back window resides at this address, HIGH SPEEDS through upper Woodhill Drive daily between 8-10am and 5-6pm. VERY VERY loud vehicle. Dangerous for those in road to mailboxes and for children playing and bicycling. Need traffic calming!

Requesting speed bumps due to traffic speed From Hillside to Miller.

I am very concerned about the speed of traffic on Vermilya avenue. The apartment complex down the street has several speed bumps which ensures traffic remains at a safe speed. I want to request a couple speed bumps to be installed on Vermilya Ave. Several drivers fly down this road at a very unsafe rate of speed. This is a quiet neighborhood with several pedestrians (including children and pets) walking the street/sidewalks at all hours of the day. Please help me make this happen. Hello, I am the crossing guard for this spot outside of Child’s Elementary school. I have been having issues with people driving dangerously. I am worried about someone being hurt - including myself. People have yelled at me, given me hand gestures, and I have had people purposefully drive quickly towards me to only stop last second before hitting me. I am not the only one who has complaints about this. Nearly all the parents who walk their children through have this complaint and I can get their input too if necessary. I believe a speed radar sign or type of speed bump could help. This road is dangerous and I believe it is only a matter of time before there is an accident.
