We have no water to our house at 2356 E. Linden Hill Dr. please advise. 773-304-6832
Yesterday, during the huge mid-day rainstorm, water came up through the floor drain in our basement at 2638 East Dekist Street. It had a sewage odor and was muddy looking and reached a level of about 4 inches, covering the entire floor and soaking everything. The basement toilet also had dirty water come into it. I called the city utilities hotline and reported the incident twice, speaking to the same person each time. The water receded after a couple hours. We have yet to assess the damage and start to clean up. Last year on 2/11/18 our basement toilet erupted (see case #163027). We had a plumber verify that the city sewer was the source of the issue. We did not claim any damages, yet the city did not reimburse us the cost of the plumbing assessment. We would appreciate someone responding to this current incident.
Strong sewer smell coming from Southside neighborhoods by Summit Elementary.
Our shower has flooded with water and fecal matter twice in the past two days.
All waste water in this newly purchased mobile home is blocked. We discovered that all waste is coming back out of the clean out pipe and spilling onto the ground. Former owners also placed the shower drain into the clean out, but there is a large clog someplace lower down that is preventing the water from draining.
We have had an on and off influx of horrible sewage smells on the south side of Bloomington for several months. It’s not just one house or a neighborhood. The smell is pungent from the corner of Old State road 37 south and E. Roher road continuing west to Roger and south to Clear Creek. Ever since construction started on west Gordon pike. It’s nauseating, has consistently awoken me from sleep, and is down right unpleasant. What if anything is being done? Grate at eastside and East Hunter must be blocked. It floods.
Sewer line is running slow and was backed up on Friday in my basement sink
The sewage is backing up in the laundry room of my apartment. I contacted the landlord and he said it is a city issue of overflowing pipes from rain.
