A plumber (Paul Young Plumbing) has confirmed a fiber optic cross-bore has destroyed my sewer lateral. I need to file a damage claim and identify which contractor was boring in my area and get it fixed as soon as possible.
The street drain cover at the north east corner of our building in the "alley" just west of the Kroger gas station has sunken about a foot! Cars catch their tires. In direct line with said drain the ground above the storm water drain pipe has fallen away and created a 2-3 sinkhole! This is next to the guard rail along Jackson Creek. The entirety of Kirkwood Ave smells like feces and sewage. I suspect there is a major sewage/drainage issue.
The sidewalk across the street smells bad and it looks like there is a wad of toilet paper coming out of an open pipe in the yard.
I have heard that there are sewer issues on Oak Leaf Drive and possibly Maple Leaf Drive. The neighbors would like to be informed if this is true and perhaps someone needs to come out to these streets to check the sewers for issues.
Same situation as case #183127 and maybe #68269. Sidewalk along north side of Cottage Grove and west of Lincoln is wet when it has not rained, and smells of sewage. Starting at Lincoln, walk west. The 12th sidewalk section is wet as are the next (continuing west) ~10 sidewalk sections. Out-of-town property owner.
Unsure what happened with our sewage pipe. Maintenance claimed there was tree roots in the pipe and they “unclogged” it. Our entire basement was filled with sewage and we were told to eat sleep and live in the house.
We have been out of state for the last 4 weeks. We returned a few days ago and our sewer is backing up into the sink. Have you had problems in the area with frozen sewer lines? Thanks…
