Brady complained about water in back yard. (There is a rock check dam in place). Also, Jeff Ellington said that a heavy rainfall had resulted in some water in his basement and thought it may be related to development north of his property
ditch on Sims Ln (west side) needs to be cleaned. North of Garden Lane (c3700), the prop owner has been filling the ditch w/ lawn clippings, South of Garden Lane, the prop. owner filled the ditch w/ dirt and seeded so it doesn't look like there was a ditch. Evelyn is concerned her basement will flood
Mary would like to have the ditch on the east side of Kinser cleaned from her perperty up to the culvert under Kinser
Drainage complaint on her property. The Street Department performed work at this address in May 1997 (see attached complaint).
See attached letter. Leonard's Home Dry Cleaners is flooding every time there is a big rain. They feel that the flooding has resulted from the inability of the city's storm sewers to handle water running down Third Street from the IU campus.
The neighbor is installing drains in his backyard. These drains are directed to Mr. Buck's yard. The trench goes up to his property line. He would like to know what the City can do, if anything?
She has standing water in her backyard. She thought that the City was going to do something about this area approximately 4 years ago.
The area along Park Ridge Road becomes clogged causing water to run down onto Cambridge Court, along the east side. The water runs in front of the park in this area. The water doesn't go up to her house but it does wash out her small flower garden each time it rains. She thought a neighbor would have called about this before.
Mr. Horton has a drainage problem. He has been talking with City Engineering since 1995 when he dealt with Rod McClure.
