Water Utility Billing Problems

Hello, last month I received a water bill of incredible cost due to my apartment having a major leak in one of its toilets we were unaware of until the bill had arrived. Our property manager and his maintanence team was able to resolve the problem and the proof that is in the attached image. I am wondering if there is any possible way to have a reduction in its cost! Thank you.

My water for the 5th time in 8 years has been shut off because it was confused with my neighbors. I also believe I have been charged for their water usage. Note they had 4 kids and 2 adults there I am by myself, and yet I had an $80 bill. I live at 2602 South Bryan St. and have been here sense 2009. The other resident was at 2602 ½. This happens after each neighbor moves out. Right now the vacant unit has water in it. This also happened to me about 2 or 3 weeks ago and I thought it was resolved that time. It is Bloomington City Water's responsibility to keep this from happening. I need 3 things from you (1) an apology for having done this so many times. (2) An actionable plan as to what you are going to do to stop this in the future. (3) A review of my utility bill for having been over charged.

Hi - I received a troubling bill from CBU back in January, and despite a few phone messages and emails to utilities.ar@bloomington.in.gov, I never received a response. In the mean-time, CBU apparently discovered an error in billing as my water usage went from an average of 4-5 in 2017 to 15 in January 2018, 8 in February 2018, and back to 4 in April - June. Alas, my most recent bill shows another spike to 7, despite no change in our home usage. Is there perhaps something going awry in our meter reading? I would appreciated an explanation for these sometimes wild fluctuations... Please have a look at my bill, CBU account 845-003 and provide some clarity. Response via email works best for me. 1301 S. Walnut St. The meter reading person reported that current usage was 10,000 gallons. There are no drips or running toilets at the property. City crews did do major work in front of the property recently - is it possible that the recent work impacted the sewer water?

My name is Brynn and I live in the Regency Court apartment complex. I am signed up through the City of Bloomington to pay our water and sewage bills, but we have been moved in for over 2 months and have not yet received a bill. We just are wondering when we will receive that, and want to make sure that we have not missed any! Thanks!

I have attempted to pay my water bill online two separate times now and the system will not approve my purchase. I have tried completing the payment on two separate occasions (10/08/18 and 10/15/18) and I have tried with different credit cards. I still haven't been able to complete the payment. My account number is 30500-028

I got my utility bill for this month that states that I did not pay the utility amount for the previous month. I have a credit card statement saying that I did. I called a couple weeks ago and they said if I emailed in proof of the statement, then the amount would be fixed. I emailed it in and it still has not been fixed. I would really like this resolved before my water bill is due on the 25th of this month. Thank you!
