Large pothole in alley that runs parallel in between Fess and Henderson street, perpindicular between 1st and Maxwell. If you're coming in to the alley from 1st street, the pothole is on your left about 20 feet in. It is huge and now with the snow makes driving down this alley hazardous.
Location: 611 E State Road 45,46 Bypass and 711 to a lesser extent. There is gravel and sand on the driveways of these homes at the junction of the sidewalks. This makes it difficult for the bicycle riders to ride throughout it. I assume it is the responsibility of the owners to clean it up. If you could give them a call, maybe that would help. The 611 address is very bad and the 711 address is moderate. On the positive side, your department has been doing an excellent job of cleaning up the limestone chunks that fall down on the sidewalk further east where you had to cut through the stone for the new highway. Potholes most of southbound part. Also mud everywhere where they've been putting in a sidewalk.
Pothole on Heritage (off E 3rd St) close to house #116. Heritage is dark at night, and therefore can be dangerous for the pedestrian. Also, huge overgrowth of foliage on sidewalk in front of 3813 E 3rd St. Obstructs the sidewalk. I noticed that when I get off the bus on E 3rd, in front of Century's building, the sidewalk ends rather than helps the pedestrian reach the corner of Smith Rd so that I can cross to get to E Morningside Dr. This is unacceptable for the pedestrian.

Fourth Street sidewalks and street pavement conditions between Washington and Rogers Streets (and perhaps further). The roadway is littered with potholes, cracks, undulations, bumps and is generally in poor condition (all of this precedes any activity around the fourth street garage, serendipity construction and Vectren pipe or line modifications). The roadway and sidewalk are not suited for cars, bikes, scooters, power chairs nor for the emergency vehicles, school buses and city transit buses that utilize it. Pretty much the same for the sidewalks.
The Street Department came the first of the week and put down a beautiful new layer of street in my cul-de-sac (Summerwood Ct) but when it rained the water pooled on the side of the street as high as the curb. It was at least 5 inches deep at the curb and extended halfway across the street. Apparently there formerly was a storm sewer at that particular location, but it is no longer functioning which results in water, snow, ice accumulation at that point and the streegt will quickly deteriorate. Please help!
Repaired sidewalk cracked again due to heavy city trucks traffic on easement. My driveway also cracked and broken in same area.
A tree at the corner of Thatcher Court and Winston Street in Hyde Park has lots of dead branches that have been falling in recent thunderstorms into the traffic lane and on the sidewalk. It needs to be trimmed or removed for safety.
On Sunday there was a break in a water pipe that necessitated digging up the street in from of our house and mail box.The work was left unfinished, I assume due to the snow fall. Is it possible t repair and finish now that the weather has improved. It is difficult for the mailman to deliver mail.
