Water fountain issue - Sherwood Oaks Park, by tennis courts: Would it be possible to get the water fountain pressure adjusted so that the water flow is correct? Right now, the pressure is so low/insufficient, you literally would have to put your mouth over the spigot to get any water out of it. Thank you!
Hi, The water to both of the water taps at the Fergusan Dog park are turned off. They were working fine last week. Now withe the hot weather and rain these are used heavily and need to be fixed. Thanks, Dirk Fraser
Hello, I wanted to inform the city about a standing and stagnant water issue in the northeast corner of Bryan Park - next to the tennis courts on the path there is a water fountain and in ground water meter that always has standing water and mosquitoes breeding in it. I've uploaded a picture and this was after 5 or 6 days of no rain. Addressing the issue will help reduce mosquitoes and the chance of illness in the area. Thank you.
Ferguson Bark Park: The large dog wash area need the water hose repaired. It has two bad leaks and continues to worsen since it began a month ago. Can you send a plumber to fix it? Thanks!
The safety rail overlooking the water on the north side of Miller Showers is missing on a few feet of the railings. It's the north side by the 2 concrete face statues. This is a safety hazard and a child or dog could easily fall through.
The water from the spigot next to the Bryan Park tennis courts is spraying rather than streaming, which makes it difficult for dogs to get a drink.
At Bryan Park right by the swimming pool, between the sidewalk and Woodlawn, there is a water pipe with the cover missing. The cover is sitting on the grass right beside the pipe opening but looks to be damaged. This is a fairly large hole in the ground and could be a danger if a child or pet accidentally stepped into it. Again, this is right near the fenced part of the pool and on the strip of grass that is between the sidewalk and Woodlawn.
To whom it may concern, Over the past couple weeks I have been visiting the Miller-Showers Park located at 1500 N. College Ave. I like to pass the time listening to the waterfall or looking at the detailed sculptures. Unfortunately, it is hard to enjoy the view because the water is so slimy and murky. I am disappointed because it can look so much better if cleaned. Right now it just looks gross. To resolve the problem, I would appreciate if someone could please clean the water so there is no more green slime in the water. I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem. Please contact me at the above email address. Sincerely, Kristina Coonce
The condition of Miller Shower park is getting worse day by day. It was clean and beautiful last fall but now it is covered with water plants and getting worse. Is it due to lack of funds that there is not maintenance?
