why are there people walking with babies and small children on the cart paths at Cascades golf course. very dangerous for children, lawsuits for city, this is a pay to use facility not a city park. happens every day.
While walking my dog in lower cascade park yesterday, I noticed parking lots were full and people were parking in grass area since most of the parking spaces are blocked off. It is unusually warm this year so it may be a good idea to open up the parking lots early this year.
There is significant erosion occurring in Park Ridge Park on the col-du-sac side of the park. I was hoping the park and this issue could be put on the list to receive new grass or whatever attention it needs to reduce the erosion. Thank you.
The water from the spigot next to the Bryan Park tennis courts is spraying rather than streaming, which makes it difficult for dogs to get a drink.
I don't like th enew pool pass system. I lost mine, and quite a bit of money as a result. Please go back to keeping them at the pool, or make them electronic somehow.
There has been extensive vandalism to the Bryan Park split rail fence that runs along Woodlawn Avenue.
I am sensitive to the needs of the unhoused and the city needs to be doing much more to protect them and provide them safe living spaces, but it is frustrating to me that I cannot walk my dog in any of the parks near me (Bryan park, switchyard) without feeling unsafe because of homeless people yelling at and following me. The parking lot in Bryan Park near the sand volleyball court along Henderson has a problem. On the north side of the main play structure in the play surface there is a decent sized hole. This hole is big enough that a child or adult could easily step in it and be injured. The hole is through a rubber type play surface covering the ground. I'd recommend repairing this if possible.
I'd like to address that there is severe mold issues on the pickleball and tennis courts at RCA park. The black mildew/mold issue has caused numerous instances with pickleball play and tennis play becoming a safety issue due to how slippery the surface get's. Many people have been slipping lately because the mold creates a very slippery surface. I'd like to suggest and request that someone comes to take a look at the issues near the back of the courts towards the woods.
