Damaged recycling bin, cart missing wheel and need replacement
Damaged recycling bin, cart missing wheel and need replacement
Trash and recycling containers left on street. Collection day Tuesday morning, still there Friday. Repeated problem
Follow-up on case #172684 Recycling and trash containers on street have been removed on Saturday morning
Recycling was not picked up for the entire street on the even numbered houses—only the other side of the street (odd number) had their recycling picked up. Please advise
It would be greatly appreciated if you would pick up our recycling this week. For some reason, last week, an entire side of the street was completely skipped for recycling. Many of us left our bins out for an extra day, but no one came. For the past few months, they only pick up recycling on one side of the street early in the morning, and then come back later in the morning or afternoon for the other side. They only do that for recycling--yet they pick up trash all at once. They obviously forgot to come back last week. Sorry to complain, but our bins are overflowing and we pay for this service. Thank you in advance.
This recycling bin has been sitting in the 400 block of Mitchell in a yard on the west side of the street like this for months now: top is missing. Maybe you can trace down which house it belongs to and replace it.
Referring to closed case #177273 (topless recycle can). We are very sorry about the confusion, but indeed, the can was gone from the curb the day after I reported this, so it is clear why you could not find it. Here is a picture from this morning and my husband's comment: 'The 'Rooming House' at 414/416 Mitchell. Recycling Bin has been without its top for months. What's in it today does not look like recycling.'
Can some clarification on the recycling pickup suspension be provided? The press release indicated: The city asks you store recyclables until service resumes or take them to one of the city’s recycling centers listed at www.gogreendistrict.com. For customers that rely on public transportation or alternative means of transportation, taking the recycling materials to a center is not a viable option. If overflow recycling materials are placed into standard trash bins, will the recycling trucks pick these up when operations resume? Our household will likely not have room to store more than one week of material in our city supplied bin.
Last week our recycling was no picked up, we followed all guidelines and saw that everyone else on our street also did not get theirs picked up either, now today they have not come by to pick anything up, I’m not sure if they’re just running late or if this will be a continuous problem
704 S Eastside Drive. The recycling truck driver was flying through our street at break neck speed. They did not take enough time to properly empty our recycling can. There was NO piece of cardboard wedged in there to prevent the items from falling out of the can into the truck once the can was upside down. The result: can on its side when the truck left, half of the contents still in it, plastic strewn in the road and on the sidewalk. An F for this performance.
