Norman and code enforcement department, Park Ridge needs your assistance again on this same address please. 3433_E._Third_St._property_needs_owner_attention The house is not being cared for and has become a flophouse for the homeless and drug users. The backdoor is not locking now (I have tried) and inside it's a mess with evidence of trespassers using the house for various activities. BPD has visited the house three times in the past 60 days due to the back door standing open. With the weather and trespassing occurring at the I address, you need to get the owner's attention to lock it up and also care for it in a consistent manner. It has evidence of being abandoned. Also evident are the two waste and recycle toters at the front door - never touched by the homeowner. An advertisement that the house is vacant. Has BPD contacted you for enforcement help? Please help! Over the past several weeks (months?), it seems that more often than not the access control arms to the Morton St. parking garage have been open allowing free parking. This is great for those who don't have a permit, but it feels a little unfair to those of us who have a permit and continue to pay for parking. What's going on, how much longer is this anticipated to continue, and is there any recourse for permit holders? Thanks!

Hello, I wanted to ask where Bloomington is at with setting up a community owned internet service provider. I have not heard about it in the news lately and was wondering if there were any updates. This issue is especially important to me after the FCC's vote against Net Neutrality. I believe community owned internet would be a great step in the right direction. Thank you.

312 N. Park Ridge Road - new fence is super close to the road all around front and side of home. Super ugly and bad for property values. This allowed? Also please check land restrictions. Is this violated? PARK RIDGE EAST PART ONE land restriction: “No fence, hedge or shrub planting which obstructs sight lines at elevations between 2 and 6 feet above the roadways shall be placed or permitted to remain on any corner lot within the triangular area formed by the street property lines and a line connecting them at points 20 feet from the intersections of the street lines . . .”

Zoning/compliance/planning/permitting issue? 4317 E. Morningside Drive. Surely not allowed to have huge chainlink fence with barbed wire on top in residential neighborhood at house next to park? If nothing else is not allowed by Park Ridge East neighborhood covenants/land restrictions, limiting 6 foot max. Extra barbed wire topper in excess of 6 ft max. Please measure and inform. Unsafe, unsightly, and unresidential. Old fence was nice small picket.

My daughter Jordan Ozolin lives at a rental house located at 523 S Park Ave. She lives with three other female roommates. Today, 12-4-17, at 3:13pm she called 911 to report a potential intruder into the house based on unusual sounds and a suspect grey Mitsubishi Eclipse sports car parked in the houses restricted parking lot at the rear of the house. Police arrived, cleared the house, and had a discussion with the man who returned to claim the Mitsubishi Eclipse. According to my daughter, the man claimed to be a construction worker, and was looking for a parking spot closer to where he said he was working. A picture of the Eclipse and license plate, “7FRESH7” is attached, as taken by my daughter when the car was parked in the restricted parking lot. This plate information was provided to the police. I am sending this report due to the concern that I have for my daughter and her roommates’ safety. The Eclipse, as well as a pickup at some point in the day, were seen in the restricted parking lot, and reported to the police when they arrived. According to my daughter, other neighbors saw the suspect vehicles and witnessed someone trying to open the door to the house. I respectfully request the police do several actions in response to this incident to support the safety of my daughter and her roommates: 1) Periodically drive by the 523 S Park Avenue house, both front and back sides (where the restricted parking lot is) and check for the suspect vehicles (specifically the Mitsubishi and/or pickup truck), and if found present, conduct a local search for the owner, and if not present, have the vehicle(s) towed away. 2) Since the police have the means of determining the owner of the Eclipse with the “7FRESH7” plate and owner’s residence, request that the police conduct periodic checks of the owner’s residence for suspicious activity, and take responsive action if warranted. Thank you, Aaron Ozolin
