There is water flowing from the side of the apartment building onto the sidewalk and streets. The water smells like washing machine water.
Mr. Plucker stated that he had called Insight 2 weeks ago to inquire about Insightbb. Mr. Plucker ask the representative if there were any special offers if he signed up for the service, the rep told him that there were no outstanding deals at this time. Mr Plucker stated that he then heard (a few days later) an ad on the radio advertisng a special promotion if someone signs up for Insightbb. Mr. Plucker then called Insights customer service and told them that he had heard the advertisement
Mr. Plucker contacted the Public Works Department 12/19/2003. Mr. Plucker called Insight customer service to inquire about Insightbb and to see if there were any specials if someone were to sign up for the service. The Insight rep. told Mr. Plucker that there were no deals for the Insightbb service. A few days later Mr. Plucker heard an advertisement on the radio for the Insightbb service offering a special, he then contacted Insight in hopes of getting the service at the special price.
STATES THERE IS A TANK WHICH HOLDS USED MOTOR OIL AND IS LEAKING. THERE ARE ALSO USED OIL FILTERS IN CREEK BEHIND PROPERTY.
STATES RENTAL PROPERTY AT 2603 E 3RD IS VACANT AND TENANTS AT 2605 E 3RD ARE DRIVING ACROSS 2603 LAWN TO GET TO STREET.
At least 6-10 semi-trucks and other large trucks driving on South Madison Street and turning on Hillside to deliver to area business; possibly "American Fasteners". Ms Selk feels that semi-trucks are not allowed in RS neighborhoods. She would like a follow-up phone call.
Mr. Brown contacted the Public Works office on 3/22/04 to express his concern to the Telecommunications Council regarding his cable bill going from $41.45 to 44.75 with out an explanation. Mr. Brown stated that if Insight had competition then an increase would not be issued with out an explanation.
Mrs. Chase wanted to make the Council aware of the rate increase she received from Insight. Mrs Chase stated that Insight did not supply "any better programs" with the rate increase. Mrs. Chase would like to know "what citizens can do about it."
Several rats living in a hole next to the railroad ties at the SE corner of Atwater & Mitchell. Ms Cheek also notified the Monroe County Health Dept.
