It would be great if the diagonal parking spots on S Madison St (200 block near city hall) could be re-striped. Also, some parking spots have numbers, but there are no corresponding numbers on the meters. As someone who parks here daily and works on this block, I can attest that many people have difficulty understanding which meters correspond to which parking spots. Just today I paid the wrong meter! Thanks!

Hi! I’m a bit confused about this charge on my account and am not completely sure who to contact. I paid the meter for one hour to get hartzels ice cream (as seen on the charges) but I never paid for $8 (or 8 hours). This is clearly an incorrect charge because I got ice cream at 6 PM and the meters end at 9 therefore I am even unable to add that much money to a meter. If I could please get a refund for the $8 charge I would really appreciate it since i didn’t even use it!
There is a parking meter 302.5a that is not connected to the ground.
One of the meters has its cover not fully latched. It has a label on it reading 7THW303-B - it's parking zone 76136.
A large percentage of parking meters around the Main Branch of Monroe County Public Library are not working. They either will not accept a debit or credit card (i.e. cannot read the cards) or have a black screen so that a user is unable to read in the steps needed in order to pay for parking. The meters in question are on Lincoln between Kirkwood and 6th, 6th between Lincoln and Grant, and Grant between 6th and Kirkwood. I have not tried parking on Kirkwood so I don't know if there's any issue with those meters. Every time I attempt to park in this area, I must try at least three times before I am able to find a working meter.
Parking Meters Issues: Over the past few months I have tried to park in street parking only to find that the meters state: Charge Card Only. Of course, you don't know this until you are trying to deposit money in the meter. So, I guess the choice is to pay the fee using a card and also get stuck with the additional service fee or move to another meter. Why are there so many meter using just charge cards? and, why not designate the meters so that I don't have to bother stopping. This I my second request for an answer. I have also called and never received a call back.
I am attempting to appeal a parking citation and when I search my license plate number, IL R958624, it is not being recognized.
