Our side yard is a conservancy easement outside of the fence line. It seems to be dying based on grape vines taking over. We were told we are not allowed to cut down trees in this area, is this something the city would help with and if there are dead trees, would they be replaced?
In the woods behind my home there is a tree which is cracked, and ready to fall. Next to the tree is a gazebo which the tree will fall on. The woods is city property, so not sure what needs to be done. Thanks!
Hi, the street tree (Ash) in front of 3111 S Mulberry Lane (Northwest of the driveway) has many low hanging branches that especially when the leaves come back in the spring, which bring the branches even lower, they interfere with pedestrian passing on the side walk or delivery trucks/SUVs passing on the street, potentially also interfere with SUVs driving into/out of the driveway. Can you send a crew to prune the low hanging branches off so that it is safer for trucks/pedestrians to pass? The condition of the turf on the walled-in multi-sport field is getting pretty dangerous. There are some large exposed seams and bald patches. I've seen someone roll their ankle right on the seam. Playing at the facility from January through March is one of my favorite things in all of Bloomington, so this is coming from a place of love. I'm hoping the playing surface is either replaced or repaired by next winter. Thanks
Maybe I posted it in the wrong issue line, sending again, as Windlow woods are maintained by the city- previous ticket #: 182007 SERVICE DESCRIPTION After the last storm yesterday, dead trees in Winslow woods fell down, one towards my house, and some within the forest. I was told the woods are maintained by the City of Bloomington. Would you survey the dead trees to avoid possible damage to my property from Winslow woods forrest, and remove the fallen down ones. Also have a few fall down by my neighbors. Worried next storm will bring dead trees fall on my house. Thank you
A homeless man seems to be setting up camp in this park. Aren’t some of my tax dollars going to help house the homeless? I am at this park every day and will not be happy if it turns into another park full of homeless people. No problem if they are just passing through like the rest of us, but I don’t want them living here.
There is a tree branch laying on the fence at our property located at 1003 Keri Marie Lane in Bloomington, IN and the tree branch has fallen from a tree that seems to be on the city easement property behind our fence. We would like to request that the city send someone out to investigate and remove the branch from our fence. Thank you!
Around 6pm on 8/29/22 I was in upper cascade and a man drives a truck right up to me in the shelter house I started to gather my things even though the sign said open I saw the city work flip it to that this morning to open and seen many workers though out the day and was not told about any resuvsions so when they so when they told me they had this for the Bloomington north volleyballso I told him he should have reserved it and you really shouldn't park up here if you're not city, he told me they did reserved it and they just talked to a city worker that it was okay drive up to the sheltet, I told him that the really should have the sign right sorry to bother you and left to go to lower cascade to make this report.
There have been people camping in the park for the past five days.
There are overnight campers in the park harassing people
