At the corner of Lincoln and Dodds. The curbs installed in the middle of the road to slow down traffic: The middle curb has lost its marking pole. At night, a person can easily run into this middle curb.
Please investigate extending left turn signal length from Patterson Dr to 2nd St, seems really short (only 1-3 vehicles allowed to turn)
I recently complained about the dangerous new roundabout at S. Sare Rd. and East Rogers Rd. I would like to once again point out how dangerous this intersection is. This morning at 8:30AM a vehicle was traveling in the wrong direction through the roundabout despite perfect weather conditions/ clear visibility. This is at a time of high traffic volume at that location. An innocent person is going to be seriously injured at this intersection due to poor engineering and a lack of proper traffic controls. I am keeping a record of these complaints in the event of an incident at this location.
Please install pedestrian crosswalk signs so that motorists know they must yield. Currently there are only stripes on the pavement and I almost got hot today crossing third street
Is it possible to put sensors on traffic light at the bypass and Matlock Rd? The red light is way too long for crossing over the bypass; a lot of the time there isn't any traffic on the bypass in either direction. Also, the left turn lane is too wide and the straight lane is very narrow which causes people turning right on to the bypass to wait for long periods of time. It should be like Fee Lane with a left turn lane, straight lane, and a right turn lane. Thank you.
The 3 way stop at Allendale and Winslow needs improvement. We live in Sherwood Oaks, and for years we have watched people blow through the stop sign while traveling east on Winslow. I see this happen at least once per week. Given that I am at that intersection maybe 5-10 minutes per day, this would suggest that this stop sign is being run 10s if not a 100 times per week. I think this might be due to the fact that people just don't see the stop sign since it is off to the side (due to the turn lane). Could you consider putting a blinking light on top of the stop sign? I don't think there is a need for a blinking red in all directions, but if you could bring more attention to the stop sign it might help. Now that I have teenage drivers in the family I am even more concerned about this-we have warned them about this intersection, but I fear that a collision there is inevitable given the number of times folks run through it. Over a month ago I reported the street signs missing at the SE corner of Stull Ave and First St. They are still missing and now the signs (and the sign post) at the NE corner of Stull Ave and Maxwell Lane are missing as well. Could you please look into this matter?
2nd/Walnut - any chance of putting a sign on Walnut to let drivers know they DO NOT stop? It's turning into a 4-way stop and that backs traffic up on Walnut to 1st. I know it's only temporary, but some more signage there wouldn't hurt. I was almost hit by someone on 2nd who thought I should stop when I was heading north on Walnut. Thanks. Can't wait to see what street is like when it's done.
