The fire hydrant on Jordan, between the Delta Gamma house and the parking garage has been open, pouring water into the street all weekend and is still doing so. This is a gross waste of the city's clean water.

I received this email from Rachel Atz while I was on vacation: "I just spoke with a lady about our dead-end flushing program and she also included that she is having some issues with drainage behind her house and wanted to talk to someone about what she could do to improve it. She said she was willing to pay for it to be fixed, but didn't know what the best solution would be or if she even owned the property/was responsible for it. There is a drain in my backyard in which water from all my neighbors yard drains into during rain and heavy storm. The ground around the drain has sunk in due to the heavy run off over the years. Need to know if this would be fixed by the city?

It appears that there is an long term, ongoing, active water leak coming from Sigma Pi chapter house 1430 N Jordan Ave, Bloomington, IN 47406 - on the left side of the property. Water is coming from the house, into some puddles on the drive way and leaking away from the property on to Theta Chi. I can't imagine how much water has been leaking and for how long, but it should be addressed.

4210 E. Hector Dr. Bloomington, IN 47408 We are having a lot of water issues. In the front driveway, they repaired the water mains in our neighborhood a couple years ago, and when they repaired the road, a ton of water goes from the road , straight down our driveway to the front of our house. It has caused water coming into the basement. And we had to install a drain in our driveway, and it still can't keep up. In our back yard, there is a channel of water (not sure what it's called) by the apartments that causes our back yard to flood. We have a tiny river, but it cannot handle the water that is directed to come right at our back yard. I would like to have an engineer come out and look at the issues and so we can have a conversation about possible solutions. Thanks.

There is a drain on my front lawn that does not appear to be working properly. In recent rains and snow there is a great deal of water flooding the front of the lawn and takes several days to go away. It pools over the drain. It did not use to do this. Please contact me. Thank you.
