This has been an ongoing problem. City has "fixed" the issue in the past, but remains a problem blocking sidewalk when it rains. Thanks

Please indicate if you have any current or archived records pertaining to current or historic septic tank systems, monitoring wells, drinking water wells, underground or aboveground storage tanks, hazardous waste storage or disposal, or any other records of environmental significance. Thank you.
Ms Adams left a voice message saying some work was done with the drainage ditches on her street this morning in the neighbor's ditch and also some asphalt paving was done right in front of her driveway and it's going to move a lot of water down her drive. She wants to get another drainage grate or a culvert or something at the corner of Pickwick. She said her property and the property next to her have spent thousands of dollars to manage the water that comes through their property and the city has been using their properties as drainage. The work they did on the street is going to put tons of water to the drain in front of their garage but it won't handle it all now. She is petitioning to see what they can do to get a storm grate put in.
Note location should be Winslow Farm Community Association storm water retention pond (DO NOT contact this home address). Note: I live at 414 E Wylie Farm road. My question is should soil erosion in Winslow forest be abated since we have a lot of soil in our storm water detention pond that seems to highly likely have come from Winslow woods (accumulated since WFCA pond was constructed in 1995).
Water running on street reported by association member.
Mr Kamen called yesterday afternoon to report his company (Bryan Rental) is working on the home at this address and he is concerned about drainage in the back yard. He knows there is a storm pipe running through the side yard and opens at the railroad ditch but it doesn't seem to go anywhere after that.
Alexandra Kalpakidis forwarded the following email she received: ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Don Creek <creekdon@gmail.com> Date: Fri, Mar 27, 2015 at 6:39 PM Subject: [utilities.cs] flooding in Westwood subdivision To: utilities.cs@bloomington.in.gov I have noticed that your trucks inspect our neighborhood flooding during/following every rain. I would like information on the situation, your concerns and the issues. Thank you
Mr Richie left a voice message on 3/25/15 saying that in heavy rains, water rushes down Wylie and across Woodlawn and down his drive. At times it has gone into the basement. He said he is going to have his drive paved this year and he wants to know if a drain could be put in that would connect to the drain he says runs down the center of his drive.
Project to fix a problem for someone else created a problem for us - water draining poorly creating a muddy mess.
The public alley located off of Hawthorn Drive to the west (between 1st and University St) has a recurring problem of washing out due to Hawthorne Street drainage running down the alley. It is a gravel alley. It currently has several gulleys that make it difficult to navigate with a car. It has been regraded several times, only to wash out again. Needs to be graded to make it passable for now and then needs a more permanent fix to keep it from recurring. Thanks!
