Fiber optic installation created some cylindrical holes in the concrete and asphalt about 6" in diameter in various locations. At this intersection, there is one that was apparently refilled with gravel, but another was left open and a stepping hazard. It is on the north part of the intersection, just north of where 11th crosses and closer to the east side of the street than the west. We found a concrete core by the side of the road that likely came out of the hole originally so we placed it back in the hole, but it sunk down a ways because it was unsupported beneath and now it needs to be topped off with gravel or the core should be removed and the entire hole filled with gravel.
Fallen utility lines on property. (I don't know who's, i've checked). None of my utilities are affected, but lines running across property. It may be phone service, cable service, television?
We have had multiple utility companies digging in our backyard over the past few years. This is disrupting our lives. We are not sure if they are staying in the utility easement. We would like to be assured that this process is legal and our property rights are not being infringed on.
Near the north west corner of my property (801 S. Anita St) there is an uncovered opening to fibre optic conduit. I reported this to a non-city contact for the company (project manager Richard __Heart(?) phone number is 517-302-1270)a Few weeks ago but no action has been taken. Same gentleman to whom I reported some lawn damage caused by their horizontal boring machine, much earlier. Also no action.
ATT has not repaired downed utility lines since the storm several months ago. Who is responsible for making sure that ATT takes care of their lines? (I am not an ATT customer)
Cable of some kind of down across out back yard and neighbors'. Has been down since the big storm a couple months ago. It is not a power line.
There is a utility project happening in the Spicewood subdivision. The yard repair after digging up holes is not up to standard. Instead of smoothing the yard out, big clumps of dirt are being left with straw thrown in them. Yards need to be left in the same or better condition than they were before the project began. The dirt should be smooth and tamped down, excavator tracks in the yards need to be repaired. Please make sure the remaining properties are repaired up to standard and left in the same or better condition prior to the project.
