Hello - We are submitting a complaint against the City of Bloomington Utilities for the following reasons: 1. We were notified in February 2024 of a 40 g/h increase in our flow, while we were out of the state on vacation, via a door tag, not a notice to our email or even a phone call, which are on our account, a door tag. 2. We have called Customer Support three times to get this resolved, as we have not identified a leak inside the house nor outside the house between the reader and the house, which we utilized Aim To Please as our contractor to check everything in the house. 3. The number of times we were told to check our toilets and got brushed off was disrespectful and patronizing, as we utilized Aim to Please to check the toilets via a Dye test and there was no dye leakage after 20 minutes in any toilet. 4. Our March (5), April (4), May (7), and June (4), and July (5) are higher than all the months prior a full year to date. However, it's not a constant leak, they are sporadic. I.e. - while I was putting my kids to bed at 9pm on Friday, June 14th, there was a spike of 400 g/h for under an hour and then it went back down. There was nothing running in terms of faucets or outside spigots. 5. Even with all of our work on our end, and the conversations with CBU Customer Support, the fact that CBU won't consider that we have a malfunctioning reader, is simply astounding. To not even consider the possibility of it, and have a denialist mentality does not, to me, show customer support or attention. We would appreciate a review and investigation of our reader and our usage reports to better understand these spikes. Additionally, we would appreciate a review of our billing because we are now paying quite a bit more for water than we did for the first two years of our ownership of this house. Hello, I live at 646 Bayberry Ct W and have been drinking tap water for years. My impression is that the taste changed significantly for the worse about a month or so ago. There was one day when it was so bad that I could not swallow it. It improved somewhat after that but still has much more of an after-taste than in the past, in spite of the fact that I bought myself a water filter. What is the cause of this and what can/will you do about it? I really don't want to have to start buying bottled water again.

I'm helping a person with a sick fish online in the forum on my website, and we're trying to evaluate the quality of water. I've looked at the water reports, and although I see carbon, which obviously indicates alkalinity, there's no mention of calcium, magnesium or no mention of pH. Can you help us? Thanks so much.

Several homes in the Stonechase Developement have noticed the water tastes like it is coming out of a hose or metal like. We would like to have our water tested or information given to correct the problem.

When will our water stop tasting so bad(like chlorine) I know it is being treated for a reason but when should it return to normal or will it?

I recently noticed a high level of chlorine in my tap water. I called Rachel Axe to issue a complaint and question the level as well as the possible formation of tetrahalomethanes from free chlorine. We also discussed the high levels of halio acetic acids and disinfectant byproducts. I urge you to please discuss making changes to the way we treat our water so it is safer. As a fellow scientist the technology today affords many opportunities to use different methods without being too costly. Thank you.

Our water has been yellow on several occasions and is now coming out of the faucet orange. We are unable to use this water for bathing, drinking, cooking, or laundry and we would like the issue to be addressed as soon as possible. We need to have clean, usable water in our home.
