At this address, they have a spotlight that’s shining right in our window, making it hard to sleep at night. It keeps popping on going through our window. If you could have somebody to look into this, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
Our neighborhood of Arlington Commons has become overrun by overflow traffic from the Atlas apartments. They take up the all of the street parking, leaving nowhere for actual residents that live on that street. They will often come through late at night with their music on very loud as well. Additionally, the roads are already narrow and the way they park make it difficult to get in an out of my driveway. I would like to request a parking permit for Arlington Commons neighborhood only- and for it to extend into the evenings and the weekend. I am especially concerned for when weather is bad as I foresee many accidents trying to get in and out of driveways with so many cars on the streets.
So I live on sixth Street and have a letter saying that we have to flip our post around and turn our fence around but why does the neighbors in the alley at 707 and 703 W. 7th St. don’t have to reply to the same rules as us. This is ridiculous because two neighbors can’t get along costing the whole neighborhood time and money. I would like to get this situation cleared up, but I think it’s only right if we have to move our fence and change it. They should also have to do the same thing.
Due to the fast and reckless driving from the students in our neighborhood from Atlas on 17th, I have almost been hit two times while walking. I am asking for speed bumps and road signs/speed limit signs to help with this issue.
The Atlas on 17th does not accommodate parking for all its residents. This has pushed their renters into pouring into our roads and alleys. We need help combating this situation. We do not have enough spaces to park and they are throwing trash and beer cans into our family community. Due to then driving in our area, I have almost been hit by a car two times this week. I did call and report to police. One car threw a beer can out the window and yelled 'woah!' On the second occasion. We need help.
Street parking is being occupied by visitors of nearby Atlas apartments, leaving none for people who live on the street itself. I would request permit parking only, with permits available for homeowners on Breckenridge. Also, the ally behind Breckenridge is being used for parking by the Atlas visitors as well, not leaving enough room for cars to safely drive past.
Residents living at Atlas on 17th are parking down our residential street out of convenience rather than where they have onsite permits for parking. Myself and other homeowners would like to request that our streets become residential permit regulated. We are reliant on the street parking in our neighborhood.
The college students from Atlas are taking all of the street parking in front of the residential area. They also are becoming a nusiciance as I have had to calm the police three times in one night due to them parking on the side of my house and being extremely loud. The police came and at some point they needed up throwing a bag full of alcohol under my car in hopes not to get caught. I would like for permits to be required to help alleviate these issues.
Possibly over-occupied rental. More than three people have been seen coming & going from the house at all hours and late into the evening and early morning. Drug activity is suspected.
There is no sidewalk in this area and I have been harassed by multiple business owners over walking through the grass in front of them specially in front of the corner toward the mall. I have to cross the street as I walk toward the mall and there is no crossing area that’s safe unless I cross early and it’s barely safer.
