A storm drain is located on Plymouth Road by the northeast point of my property. (It is directly across from the fire hydrant at Beacon and Plymouth.) The water from the drain runs underground on the north side of my house, then empties at the back by the railroad. The water then runs south over the open ground. During heavy rains, a creek forms and the stormwater overflows the small natural runoff channel, flooding into my yard. On Memorial Day weekend, I noticed that a small "sinkhole", maybe three feet wide, had formed near the back of my driveway. Also, when the last contractor installed cables, they dug a trench through our backyards and that trench is getting deeper, too. Where the storm drain empties at the back of the lot, there is a very large hole due to erosion. I am concerned that there is a problem with the infrastructure which is affecting my property. Stormwater drain is clogged with mud and other debris. When it rained last week, this area didn’t dry up for days bc the drain was clogged. The crosswalk was flooded and it was an accessibility issue.

This is the third time we are contacting the city about this problem. We have a culvert that heads west of our house for one block. Our house is on the bottom of the street, so all the debris when flooding happens lands in our culvert and yard. The house west of ours at 1928 Ruby Lane has several big holes in their culvert which are larger than 3 feet. The debris from their destroyed concrete comes down to our culvert and blocks the waterway. I am including pictures. Last year the city fixed the culvert on a house 5 houses up from us, but didn't fix the rest of the culvert. Please advise what to do. Thank you

We have lived here for nearly 40 years and the creek water has never looked this bad. Yes, after a heavy rain, it is cloudy, but it hasn't rained for over a week. The water looks very dirty and there is a bad smell, as well. Not sure if this is the department to inform. If not please pass this along. Children play in the creek and there seems to be some type of runoff or other issue that is making the water look bad. Thanks

The construction at 4th & Rogers(The old Auxiliary Police Building) They have broken through the storm pipe that runs under the back of the building. Thay say all they have to do is fill it with gravel and it will bo ok. This storm drain handles all the street drains in the area. Can they do this? It is part of the drain that flows into the Jordan River.

We would like to install a drainage pipe along the creek bed at 3750 E. Third St., Beth Shalom Jewish Center. I want to make sure that there are no regulations against it, and it would be OK to remove the metal bars, and continue the pipe coming from our east. The creek bed is on our property, but the culvert is maintained by the state. Also, I would like to know where the culvert originates.
