I have traveled High Street between Arden Rd. and 3rd Street twice a day for the last ten years. Every time there is a heavy rain, water accumulates and flows down High Street between E. Mores Pike and 2nd St. forcing me to move to the other lane to avoid going through large amounts of water creating a very unsafe situation. I was delighted to see this section of High Street repaved last summer and noticed the sewers also being worked on. I assumed, incorrectly, that the runoff problem would be corrected during this maintenance project. Since the paving the runoff has actually gotten worse. Are there plans to fix this unsafe situation so cars can travel safely on High Street without endangering drivers and pedestrians? I regularly see in the Herald Times where is city is allocating and spending money on hiking and biking trails, sidewalks and various pedestrian conveniences. There is a section of concrete gutter trough in front of 1311 Hearthstone Court's driveway that is heaving and scraping the bottom of cars as they pull in the drive.

The transition from Hillside onto South Olive street is rather rough, as there is a bump up as you make the turn. On a bike this is unexpected, and a bit rough at best. Given that this is a signed bike route, could this transition be leveled out?

1631 s olive street bloomington in 47401 This is a formal request for the drainage system to be examined and or for a drain to be established on olive street given the standing flood water over 5 inches high.

Hi, The stormwater drains in this neighborhood are no longer able to process light rain. Since the Echo Park subdivision was built, we have noticed an increase in the amount of water collecting near the drains. Historically, the drains have not processed the stormwater quickly enough so the water pools in the street causing traffic and parking disruption. We would like to find a solution to this stormwater and runoff issue. Thanks, Gavin Kelly

Hello, I am a property owner in the shadow creek subdivision and wish to file an anonymous complaint against the owner of the property at 1527 s andrew circle. I could not figure out how to manipulate your location map above so please ignore that address. I am building a house on the adjoining lot and am concerned about the serious flooding every time it rains. It has gotten worse since additional dirt has been added to the lot , and since i last reported the problem to the city last summer. Please see the picture attached and make a drive by for yourself to verify. It may overflow its banks tonight with the heavy rain that is predicted. It could flood my basement and the downhill neighbor potentially. But more important to the neighborhood and the city are the potentials for mosquitoes and even children or animals getting hurt in there. It should be an easy fix for the builder to rework the dirt he put in there to fill in the low spots and raise the grade for natural gravity drainage until he actually builds a house there. Thank you for your prompt attention to the issue . It seems to have been ignored after my previous complaint which was before the previous owner(developer ?) sold it. Thanks, Derk brewer

I live on the corner of Maxwell St. and Miller Drive at 1730 S. Maxwell Street and when it rains my front yard, near the street floods. A curb on the corner of the street would help this situation. I have noted a couple of other corners near my house where curbs have been installed (Circle Drive and Mitchell St.) to help with this same problem. Could someone please evaluate this issue and help me solve it.
