I am reporting a concern regarding the townhome unit adjacent to mine. I have been informed/observed that the electricity in that unit has been off for an extended period (several months). Because the units are connected, I am concerned that lack of utilities and maintenance in the neighboring unit may be contributing to building-wide issues, including moisture, water intrusion, or other structural concerns affecting my unit. There has already been water damage and active moisture concerns in my unit, and I want to ensure the adjacent unit is inspected to determine whether it is contributing to these conditions. I am requesting that the neighboring unit be inspected for maintenance, utility status, and any conditions that could impact surrounding units. Also I have entered my name, address and phone number yet the system is still marking this as anonymous.

Hello, I would like to report damage to the street located at/near 4601 W Middle Ct in Bloomington. The damage appears to have been caused by a city trash/recycle vehicle that traveled along the street near my driveway. The pavement has been torn up and is now damaged in that area. This occurred on or around April 14, 2026 at approximately 6-7AM. I have attached photos showing the damage and its location relative to my driveway. Could someone please inspect this and advise on repair? Also, please let me know if I need to take any additional steps or file a formal claim due to the damage being caused by a city vehicle. Thank you for your help.
Two cars parked in alley. Continuous problem at this location.
This trailer court has people burning trash between 8 pm to 1 am. Its so strong. If you don't see it there it is VERY close to there because i saw dark smoke coming out and a NIGHTLY Thing for over 6 months now. Just keeps getting worse. Can't even open windows if ypu live near there. Please help
After battling with code my apartment building it 25 ft away with the smoking but they only moved it 25 ft away but it's still entering the 50 some windows in the back where they placed it and going in the ventilation system and I've tried contacting the Bloomington Housing Authority about it. I don't know what to do any recommendations I was told that the PHA can help enforce stricter things or even make a designated smoking area that's further than 25 ft away when I reached out to Bloomington Housing Authority I'm not too sure if I spoke with PHA they weren't very helpful I thought about contacting the health department because they can come out and see which way the wind blows and where it's drifting inside but when I looked it up I really didn't see anything to tell them about smoke issues. This place needs an inpection for so much
permanent obstruction in the egress pathway" or a "fire hazard blocking a hallway exit door on 3rd floor." Dead plants kept for moths rotting away and a tripping hazard for the common area like the hallway. Can't go to management they will immediately tell the person who hold on them. Many tenants have the doorway cluttered with personal belongings that make it hard during a fire to get around them
Large tree on SW corner of lot growing at 45° angle over sidewalk and street. Not clear if tree belongs to property owner or City, though there is no question that at least 99 % of the tree mass is above City property. Last year we removed the wintercreeper from the tree, which seemed to be strangling it. Now, we would like a couple of the longest limbs cut back so that they do not fall on a car or pedestrian or the tree across the street. We would like the tree to remain, just trimmed up a bit. If this is the owner's responsibility, how does one go about getting permission to block the street and prevent cars from parking there while trimming is being done?
