Hi, I think this house is being used as a storage area for a construction business; it's listed as the address for N V Roofing and Restoration. The yard has contained trash, construction materials, and sometimes furniture for six to eight months. (I complained about trash at the curb a few months ago, and that trash was removed, but more appeared almost immediately. Right now there's trash at the curb, construction materials in the yard, and two mattresses outside.) I don't think anyone is actually living there, although people may stay the night from time to time. I'm concerned about the trash, but also about whether there is a zoning violation. This area appears to be zoned residential single-family, and it looks to me like this type of business use is not allowed. Thanks for any help you can provide. If I need to contact someone else about the apparent zoning violation, please let me know.

Hi, Fourth Street between Jefferson and Roosevelt is a blacktop path, and there's honeysuckle and other shrubs growing well into the path near Jefferson. Poison ivy is also growing in several patches on either side of the path for about half a block from Jefferson toward Roosevelt. Could you please see what can be done about this? Thanks!

Hi, There's a fair amount trash at the curb at 128 S. Clark that's been there for weeks. (The front of the house actually faces Fourth St., and that's where the trash is, on Fourth). I don't think any of it has trash stickers, so I can understand why it hasn't been picked up by the city. It's an eyesore, though, so I was wondering if the city can do anything to encourage the owner or renter to deal with it. Not sure if anyone is living in the house; it appeared to be under renovation last fall, and some of the trash looks like stuff left over from the work on the house. Hello! I live just off of the intersection of 5th Street and Bryan Avenue, right next to the IU Raintree House. I've noticed that one of the stop signs at the four way stop is missing, the post and all. I've seen people driving right through without stopping, and then realized that the sign was completely gone. It is the stop sign on the north east side of the intersection. Just wanted to let somebody know. Thank you for your help!

One of the stop signs is missing at the corner of Clark and 7th. It is the sign on the east side of the intersection that stops westbound traffic. The other 3 signs appear to be intact.

There needs to be a pedistrian crossing at the corner of Union and 5th. It is often dangerous to cross there.

Poison ivy is growing along pedestrian path between Jefferson & Roosevelt at 4th St. (along the north side of the path, starting at Jefferson and going for maybe 40 or 50 feet to the east along the path). Poison ivy is starting to grow across the path in some places. Could this please be addressed? Thanks!

Unknown make and model Black Two door Plate number: 914EPD Has not moved in months Extremely close to corner-causes cars turning right onto Roosevelt (traveling north) from 8th (traveling west) to nearly hit the vehicle when it is dark outside. Extremely unsafe, and quite an eyesore!

I would like to request that a turn signal be added to the traffic lights at the 3rd Street and Woodscrest intersection for drivers on 3rd Street coming from the East who wish to turn South onto Woodscrest. There is already a turn signal on Woodscrest for drivers who are driving North and turn West onto 3rd Street, and that turn signal is extremely helpful. However, there is no turn signal on 3rd Street for people who wish to turn left onto Woodscrest after coming from the East, and as a result, the turn is very difficult and often even unsafe to make. Often times, drivers never have a chance to make a left turn while the light is green due to the often high traffic on 3rd street, and so the drivers are able to turn only when the light turns yellow. Adding a turn signal there would undoubtedly increase the safety for everyone at that intersection. Many of the other intersections on 3rd Street have traffic lights with left turn signals, even for both the East and West directions, and I don't think that the 3rd Street and Woodscrest intersection should continue to lack a turn signal for drivers turning left onto Woodscrest.
