Is the traffic sign on North Smith correct? I originally saw January 1-3 before realizing was January through March for utilities. Three months?! Is the City aware of how heavy the road is used by commuters? Can utility work be prioritized and expedited? What alternative arrangements is the City making to accommodate traffic? Thank you. Glad something is getting fixed but please don't take that long on that particular road stretch. Guessing something with sewer there?

Meter #7671 (handicapped) at the corner of Kirkwood and Walnut is not giving time for coins and would not accept a card after we inserted $1.25 at about 6:45 pm on Wednesday, Dec. 19. We put a note on the meter since it accepted our money to park. If we receive a ticket, I will appeal based on this report. - Janice and Allan Headley, 812-336-5112.

ACCESSIBILITY: I ride the bus to work at the Gov. Agency building at 1531 S. Curry Pike, and there most definitely needs to be a sidewalk that continues to wrap around further toward the bus stop so that wheel chairs or folks with other disabilities do not fall into the road. The area is super muddy, and even someone with good balance like me can't walk through it. There is a sidewalk leading through the parking lot, but where the bus drops you off there is no actual sidewalk, and the bus won't drop someone off at the actual sidewalk due to it obstructing the parking lot entrance. All it would take is probably about 20-30 feet of sidewalk right there. There may already be a number of complaints, but I really hope it gets fixed so someone doesn't flip their wheelchair into the road or something. Are deer hunters allowed to work on deerskins etc...in the city limits in clear view of neighbors?
