This tension wire is a hazard for cyclists and needs to be well lit for better visibility in the dark. Reflectors on the wire and along the bend in the path would also add to the safety. I am a 7th grade student at Jackson Creek Middle School. I ride my bike to school every day on the High St recreational path at around 7:30 am. It is dark at that time and I use lights on my bike. On Friday, Nov 5, I was biking down the hill towards this spot. I was going fast down this hill to have enough speed for the uphill right past this spot. Unfortunately, even with my bike light, the tension wire and the sudden bend in the path is hard to see in the dark. My shoulder hit the tension wire and knocked me off my bike. My bike had minor damage to the seat.

There are two signs that were blocking the sidewalk all summer saying that the sidewalk ahead was closed for construction. They never served any useful purpose and the construction has been done for weeks. Someone moved them onto the grass, but they should be taken away because you can still bump your head on them.

Traffic pattern change at 3rd and Mitchell near campus makes turning west onto 3rd street very dangerous. To pull up far enough to see westbound traffic you are looking out the back windows of the car and can't actively be watching for pedestrians walking east. Also, when cars turn east onto 3rd from Mitchell it completely blocks the view of oncoming traffic for those wanting to turn west onto 3rd.

At the Corner of S Clarizz and E Goodnight Way there are new curbs installed so that you can cross the road. There are major apartment complexes on the west side of Clarizz blvd that use this crossing area frequently. As Clarizz Blvd is quite hilly it is extremely dangerous to cross in this area, often you cannot see traffic coming and traffic does not stop as there is not a formal crosswalk here. It would be great if you could install a painted cross walk at minimum for a crossing like this.

There is a very dangerous vehicular traffic pattern on S Woodlawn Ave between Sheridan Dr and E Hillside Dr, especially near the Grimes & Woodlawn and Weatherstone & Woodlawn intersections. There is a blind hill on Woodlawn that greatly decreases visibility for everyone. North @ south-bound vehicles on Woodlawn regularly break the speed limit by 20+ MPH and have even seen estimated speeds of 70+ mph. Sometimes vehicles "floor it" on Woodlawn southbound from Sheridan Ln stop sign. The city should consider installing a STOP sign on Woodlawn @ Grimes intersection to decrease the speed of North & South-bound traffic on Woodlawn Ave. The city should also consider additional signage to protect pedestrians who are crossing from Weatherstone Ln to Bryan Park. I have almost been hit there several times by speeding cars and trucks. This is a primary route for cyclists, pedestrians, commuting students, and dog-walkers. Pedestrians and cyclists crossing Woodlawn anywhere between Hillside and Sheridan Ave risk injury and death by vehicles speeding up and down the blind hill. Home owner has excessive growth in back yard. Home owner also has two untreated, unfiltered, and un-serviced pits in the back yard that fill with rain water and are left standing. Referred to as "ponds". This has caused an increase in critters and bugs in the area. I would like this request to remain anonymous please...

South bound lane,West side of street, going uphill, there is a prominent outward portion of the curbing. It is painted yellow, but now black from repeated contact by vehicle tires. It needs to be rounded off, and move toward the sidewalk. When I struck this prominent angled curb, it resulted in a blowout of my right front tire. The Bland wrecker truck driver said “ Oh, I get lots of business from that curb” so my experience is not unique. Please fix for the nest drivers, and contact me if there are any questions. Since Catalent is using Twin Lakes/Sportsplex for additional employee parking, traffic on W 2nd St. has become very heavy and SLOW, especially at shift changes. Are there any plans to add traffic lanes or additional turn lanes to 2nd St and/or the entrance/exit to Twin Lakes? Catalent is currently adding another 600+ positions, which will probably add more vehicles and slower travel times through this area.

Construction workers from the path project here along Montclair near Southeast Park entrance left lots of debris behind along the sidewalk. They're long gone and didn't attempt to clean any of this up.
