As a patient of dental office near Mother Bears Pizza, we are not able to park in their parking lot due to Mother Bear's employees and customers parking in the lot. The office has towed cars off because people don't pay attention to the 'No Parking' or simply they don't care. Come on, be a little bit more respectful to another business. It's their parking lot....word is that they are going to put up a gate!

This violates Code 20.5.065. Outside storage Standards - storage and parking of vehicles. This speedbump, on East 1st, between Eastside & Rose, is surrounded by potholes. The attached picture faces west. There always seems to be water standing here. It is unclear whether it is bubbling up from below the ground, or is some sort of stormwater runoff, but it seems to be eroding the street here.

The house at the mentioned address burned in April 2018. It has been abandoned since with nothing done to fix or repair. The owner keeps many objects out in the yard and up in the trees. (Many facing neighbors' properties.) The yard has not been kept up with before or since and we (neighbors surrounding this house) are concerned about rodents and other pests that could be attracted to this house. We are also concerned about what it is doing to our property values. It was a tragedy for this house to burn but it has been almost three years and nothing has been done to clean this property up. We hope there is something the City of Bloomington can do to help us with this eyesore and possible hazard to people in the neighborhood.
