Hello, I am one of the owners of Scout’s Honor Pet Retreat located at 511 W 11th Street. Over the last few days we have noticed a growing camp of unhoused persons in the trees on the southwest corner of Rogers and 11th, right next to our facility. We have had employees approached being asked for rides and have noticed a lot of trash being left around. We are asking that this encampment be looked into for the safety of our customers and employees, the health of our business, and the cleanliness of the area.

There has been a steadily increasing amount of graffiti on top of the mural on the underpass. Just the other day I saw two spray paint cans.

I was mowing my yard yesterday evening when I noticed a bicycle left on W. Seventh Street. I did not think about it until I read that the IUPD has had a number of bicycle thefts. So I went out today and the bicycle is still there. I leaned it by a light pole. It is an older Schwinn, dark blue, 15-speed, without a seat. Maybe it is one of the bicycles that was stolen.

Street needs repaved. Filed u-report 8/14/21 reporting same problem which was closed 8/19/21 indicating hot patch crew sent to area. Street in front of my property on west side of street and extending down to Saratoga Drive remains with areas of broken down and damaged pavement that was not hot patched. The patching is a temporary fix that does not last due to the poor drainage. The drain culvert in front of my house is filled with road debris, sand and dirt. After any significant rain, this collects water which does not drain as the culverts need repaired to allow for better drainage to the road drain near Saratoga Drive. The road slopes to the west which compounds the problem. Was told last year the issue with the water collecting in front of my house in the culvert was due to asphalt that was placed at the end of my driveway blocking the flow of the water. My driveway was replaced in March with nothing blocking the culvert now, and it continues to be an issue. I noticed the badly damaged road and culvert on Saratoga Drive was repaired thankfully. Would like to see the same kind of repair done along this area of Park Ridge Rd , however, the majority of the roads and culverts in the addition need attention.

Please assess this intersection (Fairview and 13th) at the top of a slight hill with a stop sign. The massive honeysuckle bush on the east side of Fairview obstructs view of stop sign until you are right up to the stop sign. Additionally, when you are stopped at 13th st and looking east there are oftentimes vehicles parked in front of the residence and the view to the east is blocked. I don't know how the yellow painted curbs to prohibit parking near stop signs are determined but this intersection may need something to prevent vehicles from parking right up to the stop sign. Rather than pictures I have videos of the property I am renting from Parker Real Estate Management. They have not complied with their end of my lease and I currently have poison ivy and poison oak growing in my yard. I’ve contacted them about the issue and there has been no movement on correcting it. Would really appreciate if an inspector came by as there is also mold growing in the gutters and overall upkeep of the house is concerning. Thank you.

The tree at Site ID: 28394 has been taken over by ivy and is dying. Several large limbs have fallen and pose a danger to pedestrians and vehicles. The latest limb to fall was quite large and fell only a few feet from a car parked on the street. I've moved the limb out of the road and to the side of my driveway but I believe this tree needs to come down to prevent future damage or injury.

Please remove the invasive species--Tree of Heaven---near the water uplift station near the street on the west side of the property. It is growing very fast and spreading. Thank you.
