Tyler Steury closes out uReport questions about water quality without answering them whenever the submitter is anonymous. Here's a few recent examples: #181901, #181513, #181504. I would like to see the answers to these questions, and I feel it's inappropriate to refuse to answer a question just because it was submitted anonymously. This is a public record and citizens monitor it for current issues that may affect us.
Our neighborhood has reported this resident multiple times and the city has done absolutely nothing to correct the issues on this property. This property is a literal junk yard, and when I say literal, I mean this without any exaggeration. It is littered with trash, abandoned vehicles, broken appliances scattering the entire yard. My kids go outside to play and are bombarded with mosquitoes that live in the water-logged abandoned junk all over the property. Can someone from the city please address this since the other departments are not addressing it?

Our sub division Northwood Estates has been having a lot of trouble with drainage. It seems that the easements have overgrown scab trees & brush that may be blocking some water but it also seems as thoug your drainage system that takes the water to a creek needs to be cleaned out. We back up to the golf course & have trouble getting the golf course staff to maintain our side of the course, ie mowing, weeds, dead trees along the road,etc. We seem to be a bit neglected when it comes to these problems. The tree inside the large dog park has a large diameter dip around the base of it. This dip is constantly filled with very rank smelling water and I along with all other dog owners have discussed how unhappy we are that we must bathe our dogs anytime we take them to get exercise. My dog needs consistent exercise and the best way to do this is at the dog park, but constant bathing can cause skin to dry out. At one point, the city had placed a temporary barrier around it so I believed there was hope for a solution, but since then the barrier has been taken down.
We're moving into yet another period with dangerous heat indexes, and the water fountains at Southeast Park still remain off. Can these please be turned on ASAP?

The water company is a monopoly that runs itself like its the 4th Reich. They offer zero assistance or help, unless your unemployed and not trying to better yourself at all. If you just quit on life and being productive, then the city helps you. If your a hardworking man, that fell on hard times due in no fault to himself, that guy can kick rocks. His only option is to pay his bill in full or else. The water company actually put a lien for 200 bucks against a paid for home worth 225,000! My family has had 3 or 4 generations of perfect bill paying with water company. Just my gma, dad, mom, aunts and uncles have paid city of bloomington water for well over 250 yrs combined, and that garners you zero good will or even common courtesy. They can't even acknowledge they're screwing you over and be polite. They know they're the only game in town so they treat people like crap and it's not ok.
When we already have a flood watch, and now warning, please don't have City staff fill up their Vacall water trucks with a hydrant without a tight seal, spraying water for a long period of time and creating even more of a wet flooded mess for the yard.
The drainage easement at the south end of Greenwood Dr., where it dead ends into the sidewalk, is blocked with a landslide of debris. The water level rose to 3 feet on either side of the sidewalk and covered three properties adjacent to the clogged drain with water and debris. Thank you for your help. Jim and Debbie Quinn
