This light was first reported inoperable on August 21st. It's a Duke light and the City notified Duke. Duke came out and put a ribbon on it. I did a second report to the City. Duke's response: in needed more time. I did this drill last year. It took about 3 months. Surely the City has a standard for the contract with Duke. If not, we need one. This is the only street light on my street. Last August when it was out, my guest's car was rifled and some items were stolen. I ask that people dos their job and provide the service we deserve. Thank you.
Burning smell occurring repeatedly in the evenings near White Oak Cemetery- smells like burning trash. Do not know the source of this but hoping BFD could begin monitoring the situation.
Because Miller is a popular throughway and Maxwell does not have stop signs at the 3-way, there have been multiple accidents and even more near-accidents in the years since I've lived nearby. We could use stop signs to help the flow of traffic a lot.
Sidewalks on Maxwell end just before my house and I would like to request that they be extended. I have small children and we live right at Miller and Maxwell, which is an active intersection with a lot of folks turning from Miller towards my house. My kids enjoy riding their bikes, but we don't ride nearly as often because I worry about them going out into the street. I would like to request that sidewalks be extended down at least to cover my house.
street light are out at each intersection
There are tree branches hanging over the road at 4785 E State Road 46 causing issues for school busses.
Our recycling bin is missing one of its wheels. It went missing after a pickup and has been very inconvenient to use since.
It appears that a bird has dropped a dead squirrel in our lawn next to our steps at 508 N. Lincoln Street and is causing a very foul smell in the area. We were wondering if the town could help in removal of the dead animal.
LOCATED AT 212 N SHEFFIELD DR IN PARK RIDGE EAST. This neighbor continuously has pans of food on the ground. Sometimes it is birdseed, but it is currently cat food and has also been cheetoh balls. Walking by, we have witnessed many animals, other than birds and most often NOT birds, eating out of these pans. So many deer, groundhogs, raccoons, skunks, cats. I am not looking for someone to necessarily get a fine, but I do know they’re aware of the deer feeding ordinance, but they have continued to do so so more education seems necessary about the harmful effects of this practice. There are pans in the front of the yard and also around back behind their garden. The dead grass all over the yard makes it a parent how much feeding has occurred over the years.
