County is getting 16 paid holidays and discussion of 8.5% COLA raise with starting salaries already at a higher wage than most comparable positions within the City, in addition to many roles working 8am-4pm. Will this continued deficit in pay and benefits be addressed in the upcoming budget decisions for City staff?
Bus stop hazard: Can we please move the location of the #5 bus stop sign 30ft north. When the bus stops adjacent to the sign here passengers have to exit the bus right next to large (and growing bigger) sinkhole next to the storm drain. The sinkhole was reported years ago, but it persists. At least let me get off the bus without risking falling into a sinkhole before I have to walk through all that wet grass in the easement. Please?

Using the MyBloomington website, ( https://bloomington.in.gov/mybloomington/ ) It would be helpful to list the historic designation per the SHARD for houses both in and out of historic districts. (i.e. C / Contributing, NC / Non-Contributing, O / Outstanding, etc.) and linked to a page that explains WHAT THAT MEANS in terms of modifications to the outsides of houses, whether or not that structure is in an historic district. Many homeowners come before the Historic Preservation Commission angry and uninformed. Consult with the HPC Program Manager, Noah Sandweiss, on what to put in these blurbs - it changes based on whether the property is in a district, as well which district it is in. People are living year-round in an RV parked on an unimproved surface at 220 S. Maple Street. They have been there for about 18 months. I previously reported them to H.AN.D. and the city's legal department. There are also 3-5 other cars parked in the small property lot at all times. The man is apparently fixing cars for others. Various articles and garbage bags are often strewn about. Their has been many domestic violence and nuisance reports to the police and fire department during this time.
The tree/roots between the sidewalk and road between 2704 and 2702 E Brigs Bnd has caused the sidewalk to tilt and hold water. This will pose an icy surface and is difficult with my walker. I also am concerned the water will cause damage to my driveway. Is this something you can look into. Thank you. V/R Kenneth Crevier
Since the street was repaved our garage has flooded 3 times in the past year due to runoff coming d9wn our driveway and over our yard. We tried to dig a relief ditch but this is more difficult and the flooding is due to the fill in of the original ditch in the easement and the fact that the culvert under the driveway is now clogged with roots and dirt. I need the ditch dug properly. Also, your department fixed a brok3n main last winter and did not fill in the hole left by the repair.
Ridgefield IV neighborhood Bob Shaw is the developer. Bob tore out sidewalks august 2022 without city’s permission. Almost 2 yrs later and still no sidewalks. 3 residents with disabilities(one uses a scooter) along with multiple children in neighborhood. We need accessible sidewalks and for the city to go after Bob Shaw!
