Hello! We got a notice for leaving our recycling can put past 24 hours of pickup, because our recycling has not been picked up for a MONTH? I do not think it is fair for us to have to pay any fine at all, as we put the correct items in the recycling container and it wasn’t overflowing. We left the can out by the street for 24 hours in case recycling came by later because we were not sure what was going on and why it never got picked up? I even sent an email about 2 weeks ago and never got a response!!! We are upset about this and would appreciate a response. Ticket: 62023-02-0428 Please take a look and consider appealing this. I own this property and I noticed that one of the wheels on my trash container is broken and I need it replaced!

The recycling fellow looked in my container and evidentally, a single plastic bag was not recylable, so he hung that bag halfway out of the container and did not pick up any of the recycling. I'm sorry I made that mistake, but it would have been small effort to put the bag in the trash container that was right beside it or to leave the plastic and take the recycling. Really poor service.

Observed city sanitation personnel leaving trash in their wake as they did the weekly collection. I had guessed this was happening, but finally saw with my own eyes. Often they leave the emptied bins in lanes of travel as well, when the bins were not set in the road. FYI - just hoping this can be improved so our neighborhood is free of litter.

Illegal dumpers dumped this twin mattress set in the alley adjacent to 1127 W. 6th Street. The dumping appeared during the late morning of Saturday 22nd, May. My neighbor and I both just missed seeing who did it within a 15 minute window. One city truck has passed it without picking it up so far. Please have them return and take care of this. I would have driven it to the city dump if I knew where to take it; and now my car is in shop again so I cannot.
