An area of new sod immediately adjacent to the sidewalk and between the sidewalk and street has collapsed (in some places to a depth of 9 inches) in such a way that it is unsafe for bicyclists or pedestrians who may veer off the sidewalk even very briefly. We believe this sod was laid after the ground was dug for installation of the fiber cable for Gigabit Now. We (University Baptist Church) are not certain of the best agency to contact about the problem, and we are hoping that you will either take care of it or direct us to the correct people to contact. this washed out patch is a fairly serious safety issue for cars and pedestrians. Due to recent work on a sidewalk on Clover Lane, orange traffic cones were available, and were placed at the site of the hole to reduce the risk of an accident. City personnel came to see the issue, and took away the traffic cones, thereby increasing the risk of an accident. City personnel informed me that the hole would be repaired "soon" by the fiber optics installation contractor. While I understand that this sort of thing takes some time to coordinate and complete, the removal of the orange cone and the lack of a repair, is creating a safety risk for cars and pedestrians in the area. thanks, kelly

Kinser Pike road and sidewalk have been destroyed after the construction and gas line work. Why are you all just letting it be f'd up for so long? These need repaired ASAP before winter so the ice and snow don't exacerbate the already dangerous area. Shame we aren't IU or Eastside a-holes or you all would've had your nodes up our asses day after construction ended

South bound lane,West side of street, going uphill, there is a prominent outward portion of the curbing. It is painted yellow, but now black from repeated contact by vehicle tires. It needs to be rounded off, and move toward the sidewalk. When I struck this prominent angled curb, it resulted in a blowout of my right front tire. The Bland wrecker truck driver said “ Oh, I get lots of business from that curb” so my experience is not unique. Please fix for the nest drivers, and contact me if there are any questions. The NE corner of 7th & Waldron at the street level was torn up MONTHS ago during the Near Westside sidewalk and ramp work. This corner has never been either completed or the pavement restored. When will this finally be finished? I see this as an issue as we go into the rainy winter, where this area will be more prone to icing, which will create a potential road hazard.

For over a year, both the owner and tenant of this location have made repeated offenses against city code - including dumping yard waste in the ally, not picking up trash in yard and on sidewalk, having multiple broken down cars parked (for over a year) on property without attempts to repair/remove them. Owners are constantly parking on sidewalk for days at a time. Tenants have aggressive dog that has jumped the fence and attacked people. Blue car in front of house (with flat tires) hasn't moved in over a year, and does not run. Blue SUV doesn't run, and hasnt moved in months. Trash and recycle bin are constantly over flowing and spilling trash. Bins are never removed from sidewalk. Witnesses have caught tenants throwing trash into neighbors yard.

I submitted Case #180206 on June 5, but Jo Strong mistakenly closed it on June 9, saying "no sidewalk at this location. I gave the location of the owner of the sidewalk, but the sidewalk is on the south side of their property, while their driveway is on the north side. The overgrown sidewalk is on Fields Drive. Jo Strong also said, "Is address correct?", but there was no way for me to respond. Please reopen this case. I attached a photo (although it isn't showing or acknowledged), but the situation has grown worse since I took this photo.
