We are currently searching for an experienced gardener who can contribute to our PlantersPlace.com video gallery. Bloomington Brands operates the PlantersPlace.com website where visitors can access gardening tips, photos, videos, and much more. In our video section, we have a library of "how-to" gardening tips videos hosted by gardening experts. We are currently looking for local video hosts in Bloomington who are knowledgeable about a variety of gardening topics. We came across the Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department and wanted to reach out to see if you might be able to recommend anyone who is qualified for this position. Large poison ivy is growing at the entrance to the rails to trails path. Specifically, it is on the fence on the East side/corner of the parking lot, along the sidewalk - growing out, towards the sidewalk. I know what it is (and to avoid it), but not everyone would. Could it be sprayed to kill it? (One time when I think the weed is worse than the poison needed to remove it!) Thank you.

Hello-- Once a week a group of us run on the Rail Trail...we are primarily a collection of faculty from IU who really enjoy the trails that P&R provide (THANKS). We are also truly a multi-generational group...with a couple of our members ALWAYS....and I do mean always....mentioning how nice they thought it was to see a plaque honoring George Heise and others near the bridge at the end of the Rail Trail. George was a longtime member of the Psychology department and a colleague/teacher for many in our group. So, they were very saddened to see that the plaque has been stolen. I've attached a picture of where it used to be, and hope you could find it in the budget to replace it. I'd appreciate a response. Thanks again. Rob
