Can 12th street be made into a one-way? It is too narrow with the street parking for East and West traffic. I see frequent traffic jams and near miss accidents when cars try to squeeze past each other.

This complaint is in lieu of a letter that Mr. Brostoff was to submit to the Traffic Commission requesting that the existing loading zone sign in front of 1200 N. College be removed and the parking revert back to 2 hour. Brostoff moved his business to this address within the last few months. There was an existing loading zone sign in front of his business. He does not need this loading zone and would like to have the parking space for customers.

Fairfield Dr. is a 1-way road, yet there are no signs on many access points to signify it as such. Traffic often goes the wrong way. This is one frequent occurrence location.

Between approximately 1910 until about 1925 on 3/21/24, I witnessed 6-8 vehicles drive south in the northbound lane in the construction area from Fountain then turning west on 7th St. The vehicles ranged from a full-size truck pulling a trailor, the kind to haul a riding lawnmower, to an either 2-door or small 4-door car and judging from the high speed at which the car drove and the timing of the next northbound car, the southbound car entered the construction zone at the same time or after the northbound car entered from Kirkwood. This was all within 15-20 minutes on the 4th day of the closure.It's going to be a problem.

Park Ridge neighborhood - We need the street dept. to re-stencil all of the traffic calming symbols and stripes on all the speed bumps. Also, all posts with safety reflectors need to be inspected. Some missing altogether as well as many round reflectors missing. Please follow up - we would appreciate it! Weather is perfect for such work! Road was torn up during repairs to water line over the winter. Has not been resurfaced. Hazardous because cars drive on wrong side of street to avoid non-paved areas.
