On February 24 during a wind storm a tree, which stands near the power line between Arden Dr. and Queens Way, dangerously cracked. The workers from Duke Energy, who cut a big portion of the tree, understandably didn’t want it to fall on the power line. They did it in a such way that branches fell to our back yard and even damaged the fence. Duke doesn’t want to remove debris and repair the fence. Despite the tree stand on the land belonging to Duke (or town?) and the damage was not the act of nature, they claim that it is not their responsibility. Please help us to recover from this Duke’s «gift». Sergey Pinchuk, 2112 Arden Dr.

My water consumption use (and corresponding bill) is twice as much as any of my other previous months. We have not increased our usage during March - if anything, it should be a little less since we were out of town for a week. This reading cannot be accurate.

Good Morning. Our recycling container was not fully emptied this morning. Would you please have the recycling truck come back by our home to fully empty our containers? 167265 was a previous case of the same problem. It was closed by Kelsey Thetonia. I report that the creek is intermittently very dirty and muddy looking. It was very clear yesterday and now it is very dirty, like previous pictures I have sent. Since it was clear yesterday and hasn't rained since Saturday, it seems like it is more than simple runoff. We're moving to B'ton in July on S. High St. Our moving van will need to block S. High for 4-5 hours on a weekday; do we need a permit to have the truck block a bus route, and what is the cost if yes?

Sam Zheng reported this pothole in front of 2303 E. Wimbleton Ln a few months ago and the patch job was totally inadequate. Now there are tons of chunks of asphalt that washed from this hole down the street and are now scattered all across the road in front of 2217 E. Wimbleton Ln. It would be nice to get this hole fixed properly and all the debris downstream cleaned up.
