My neighbor, directly across the street from me, has want looks like the entire contents of a restaurant sitting on this driveway, in front of his house and on the side of his house. This is in addition to 2 or 3 vehicles that do not run. The mess really needs to be cleaned up – it really looks terrible and property values are suffering. If you are not the correct department to contact about this problem would you please put in contact with the correct department?

TV was on sidewalk for some time. Now is broken and there is glass on sidewalk.
Request a new Street Light

Commissioner at Transportation Commission meeting on 9/28/2026 requested analysis of street lighting at the intersection of E Covenanter Dr and College Mall Rd. They complained that street lighting on the west side of the intersection is insufficient for safe pedestrian utilization of the intersection.
Drivers heading north on College Mall turning left onto Covenanter, and drivers headed east from Covenanter turning right onto College Mall have a difficult time seeing pedestrians in the crosswalk at night or in low-light conditions.
Currently there is a street light on the north east corner of the intersection (Location
965 S College Mall Rd, Bloomington, IN 47401
(39.1553, -86.4976)); however, the light does not appear like it was installed to illuminate the corner of the crosswalk in question.
The existing light is not impacted by overgrown vegetation.
In terms of follow up on this item, if there is any action staff can take on it, I would like to document staff response and the process via uReport and a staff report at a future commission meeting.
