WATER POURING OUT OF STONE WALL.
WATER POURING OUT OF STONE WALL.
Drainage inlet on east side of High Street just north of Queensway is full of sand (possible from water main break this weekend on High Street). He's afraid if its not cleaned out it will flood at the next rain.
LOW WATER PRESSURE.
Customer beleives his water pressure is low. SG requested Ed Sherfield contact customer and arrange water pressure check.
SOAPY WATER RUNNING DOWN STREET.
LOW WATER PRESSURE.
Customer requests water at residence tested. Has been sick and thinks it might be caused by his drinking water. SG called Dillman lab. D.S. will call customer to arrange for sample pick up.
CUSTOMER HAS RECURRING CLOGGING OF FAWCET AERATORS BY SMALL BITS OF LIME. SG RECOMMENDED CUSTOMER DRAIN & REFILL HOT WATER HEATER. ASKED CUSTOMER TO CALL BACK IN A WEEK IF PROBLEM HAS NOT CLEARED. 01/21/98 - SG CONTACTED A PLUMBER. PLUMBER ADVISED MR SMITH TO CHECK HOT WATER HEATER DIPSTICK. TODAY, (01/21/98) MR SMITH STOPPED IN TO SAY THAT THE DIPSTICK WAS THE PROBLEM. HEATER IS A GAS HEATER AND IS LESS THAN 3 YRS OLD.
Gary Coonce called re. his account that is in his wife's name - Katherine Coonce - at 1313 Hickory Grove Lane. Mr. Coonce has experienced high bills. He feels his sewer bill should not be double the amount of his water bill. Mr. Coonce stated that he or his wife will appear at the USB meeting on 1/20/98 to state his complaint at that time.
CUSTOMER HAS SMALL WHITE COLORED BITS IN HER WATER. ADVISED CUSTOMER IT WAS CALCIUM CARBONATE FROM OUR CORROSION CONTROL PROGRAM.AFTER VISIT ON 01/13/98 ADVISED CUSTOMER TO TRY TURNING OFF THE WATER SOFTNER AND FLUSH HOT WATER AT MASTER BATHROMM FOR A WHILE TO SEE IF THAT WILL SOLVE PROBLEM. 01/19/98 - checked with customer. Perhaps some small improvement. Will check back in a week.
