Mr. Ward called to let us know that on several occasions he has seen folks drive back to the Wapehani Bike Park and dump brush and other debris. He knows what they're doing is illegal but doesn't want to get in trouble trying to catch them! Please call him.

Farmers Market: Dr. Walcher has gone to the market twice. Both times he saw dogs. This is unacceptable - wants signs posted that this is against board of health regulations. (Dr. Walcher is a retired physician and has worked for the board of health in the past). If the number of pets at the market doesn't improve, he will be very upset.

Banneker Center: Ms. McKibben attended a lecture about gangs and was upset to find out they could exist in Blmtn. She contacted the probation dept and the Police Dept who told her the areas of greatest gang activity was BBCC, Kirkwood and the Mall. She withdrew both her children the Teen X-Treme Camp and wanted to know why we had not informed her of the risk. She questioned whether P&R was "burying their heads in the sand" about gang issues.
