There are homeless people living in sheds behind this house. They have numerous dogs and one of them attacked a man in the backyard a couple of days ago. These dogs are always off-leash and also come into other neighbors' yards agressively. We need the city to deal with this situation

1037 Emery Court is a Jeff Jones property that is on the legal action list. There were people looking at the property that reported that Jeff Jones is going to sell them the property on contract. This is the second property that residents in the neighborhood have heard this happening in the last couple of weeks. This neighborhood has had to put up with Jeff Jones for 20+ years. We were hopeful that the legal case was going to fix this slum lord situation. Jeff Jones has sold this house on contract or rent to own more times then I can count in the 20 years I have lived in this neighborhood. He has sold every house in the Walnut Creek subdivision neighborhood that he owns on contract repeatedly. It is a total scam. None of these houses ever are actually sold. We thought the legal litigation was going to stop Jeff Jones from continuing his slumlord ways. What is going on to address this?

We work for IU Real Estate and we received a report from a staff member at our Commercial Building, Starbucks stating, "I wasn’t sure who to reach out to but I wanted to make someone aware just in case. While running trash outside to our trash bins in the alley, I came out right as what appeared to be an unhoused man threw his items on the ground and loudly said “Well I need to take a sh**.” He started removing his pants and went into the cut out just passed our alley side doors where there are two large dumpsters (I believe for the residents upstairs). I do apologize for anyone that has to handle this, but I wanted to make you aware in case there was a mess with any kind of human excrement there." Hello: I am sick of seeing these vagrants walking by my house at the corner of College Street and West Hillside Drive. I spoke to an officer last Tuesday and requested more police car drive by’s, evidently it is not working. I appreciate it, if more police cars can be visible in this neighborhood, behind the Switchyard Park, which drives them in. Please put a barrier on College Street and the South Side of the park by the Walnut Street side of the SWITCHYARD Park Parking Lot where the vagrants enter and exit with back packs and bicycles going through the Railroad Park neighborhood where your police department and YOU ignore for safety. I’ve reported this issue to Governor Braun, Erin Houchin US Representative of the House of Representatives and US Senator Todd Young. No issue, just a suggestion. Please consider public restrooms and water bottle filling stations in the downtown area and along Kirkwood and/or 4th street. With so many street fairs, outdoor festivals, etc. It seems ridiculous that a thriving city such as what Bloomington is would not have these amenities for it's populous. I figure if Nashville, Indiana can have public restrooms, why don't we?

Since the dismantle of 2 homeless camps last week they seem to have migrated down the b line to a wooded area in a residential area within a block of a boys and girls club, and 3 blocks away from a middle school. between 11th street and cottage grove ave on Summit st. The city just towed a few abandoned cars from this street a week ago. Now their is more cars that people are clearly living in. They are setting up tents and seating areas like its their living room, theirs tents popping up in the woods along this road, and the TRASH and SMELL is getting out of hand. This is becoming a safety hazard for children who walk home from the school and boys and girls club in the surrounding areas as this is a school zone. The people residing in this "camp" scream, argue, fight, and curse loudly at all hours of the day and night. They block traffic loitering by the cars and scream at any car that tries to get through them, and have animals who are leaving droppings everywhere and no one picks it up. This is also encouraging people to start parking rv's in this area as well, and it is turning into "skid row". PLEASE do not let this camp get set up and get as bead as the two you just dismantled. It will be harder to get them to leave the longer you wait to address this. I have found several syringes in my yard along the alley so their is clearly drugs being used and distributed at this new homeless camp on SUMMIT st. in between 11th st & Cottage grove ave. Right across from the gas station on 11th. thank you.
