Biking & Walking

508 W 17th ST

Case Date:
6/12/2024

The entire brand new bike path has been barricaded from Kinser to Arlington. It looks like all that is going on is a single truck with a trailer parker on the path near the skate rink. Seems like a bit of overkill to close the whole path down for residents!

Trash

508 N Washington ST

Case Date:
8/17/2025

Brawley management has put up "For Rent" signs in the ROWs at multiple locations in the neighborhood along Washington and Lincoln and between 8th and 10th Streets, and likely at other locations around the city. Please remind them to periodically reread the City Code - hopefully, they will eventually learn to be less self-serving and dismissive of the neighbors.

Other

508 N Lincoln ST

Case Date:
9/18/2025

Not sure which category this belongs under. Recently, Brawley (of course) tore out the little deck on the front of this building and then replaced it with a huge deck that completely covers the front yard all the way to the sidewalk. Attached is a picture what it used to look like. It looked junky, but the new one looks like something a restaurant along 4th Street would have for customers to sit outside and eat in. Is it even legal for them to do this in a residential area? Did they get a permit to do this?
