There's no sidewalk here, which means I can't walk - or even bike - my kid to school this way.

People consistently drive like maniacs exiting town from West Kirkwood Avenue heading west. At all hours of the day, including the evening and middle of the night, I hear people revving their engines like they’re on a racetrack—on a residential street. Considering there’s a school zone less than a half-mile down the road from where I live, it seems like there should either be better enforcement or more traffic-calming infrastructure in place.
They have been doing lots of major renovations and construction on the building and haven’t pulled any city permits.
Difficult to cross the road at rush hours. Cars are going fast and don't stop for pedestrians. Very dangerous to cross.
Query the status of the enforcement of the removal of the illegal temporary sign 'West Services' on a pole at this intersection. First reported on April 21, 2024.
One of the purposes of UDO's section 'Signs' is 'to avoid unneccessary proliferation of signs'. There still are close to 20 blue 'Light the Way' signs on E First Street between Woodlawn and Eagleson. The promised 'signage sweep by Planning staff' (March 18, 2025 quote) must not have taken place yet. The sign at 1320 E First in the grass next to the sidewalk is illegal, according to the Elevate map. Property does not extend all the way to the sidewalk.

'Light the Way" temporary sign attached to a fence, which is not allowed.
When heading east on 7th st between Washington and Lincoln, we seriously need a sign pointing out to drivers that it is a bike lane only on their right. There's a lot of confusion with the parking lot entrances there. This is the 2nd time I've seen a car driving in the bike lane, then turn left on Lincoln.
