Construction workers from the path project here along Montclair near Southeast Park entrance left lots of debris behind along the sidewalk. They're long gone and didn't attempt to clean any of this up.
This tension wire is a hazard for cyclists and needs to be well lit for better visibility in the dark. Reflectors on the wire and along the bend in the path would also add to the safety. I am a 7th grade student at Jackson Creek Middle School. I ride my bike to school every day on the High St recreational path at around 7:30 am. It is dark at that time and I use lights on my bike. On Friday, Nov 5, I was biking down the hill towards this spot. I was going fast down this hill to have enough speed for the uphill right past this spot. Unfortunately, even with my bike light, the tension wire and the sudden bend in the path is hard to see in the dark. My shoulder hit the tension wire and knocked me off my bike. My bike had minor damage to the seat.
Sussex and queens way - there is a car parked facing the wrong way practically in the intersection. This is an accident waiting to happen.
There has always been speed limit signs across from my house and my neighbor’s house (2 specifically are no longer there). They have been taken down since all the construction of our new 10 ft sidewalks. They need to be replaced! Many people are driving 40-50 miles an hour down our street now! With our new extra wide sidewalks, our street has heavy pedestrian traffic in addition to the school just down the street. It may also be partly because it looks like a very wide open road with the huge sidewalks, people feel they can go as fast as they want. While constructing the Bike Path on the portion of E. Arden Drive to SE Park, crews did not remove the heavy mats blocking storm drains at the corners of S. Williams, Greenfield & Sycamore Courts. When heavy rains appear, water flows into E. Arden Drive, oftentimes ponding in low lying areas. People often drive too fast on that street, causing hazardous driving conditions should they loose control of their car.

Two signs within a inches of each other, one blocking the other. Project has been finished a while I think but this may need attention.
The tulip poplar planted along the S High St recreational path last autumn is showing no signs of life this spring. All of the other tulip poplars in the area are now fully leafed out. This is the last tree in the row that includes the yellowwoods north of Wimbleton St. Would love for it to be replaced this year. Thanks.
One of the new street trees planted by the city after the completion of the new north extension of the Jackson Creek Trail last fall has unfortunately died, and should be replaced. It is sending up suckers at the base, but I don’t think a large shrubby plant is what was intended. Tree is near the property line of the house on High and the house on the corner facing Wimbleton.
