220 W 14th St. This is a repeat of #212155. I need you to understand the methodology behind this photograph. I held my phone pointing directly ahead of me, with both of my feet squarely on the sidewalk (at the edge of the sidewalk). My phone was directly in front of my face. The branch directly in the center of the photo is exactly where my eyes would be if i had continued to walk forwards. Practically, this is a genuine problem because I really do walk along the edge of the sidewalk so that i can walk 2- or 3-abreast with my family. It's a safety problem because if I do not see the branch then it will hit my eye, as has already happened at this location! It's an inconvenience because it is a point where the sidewalk narrows from 5ft to effectively 4ft. Pedestrians are forced to reconfigure their groups at these narrowings. It costs us time and energy and makes conversing difficult. I'm not sure what enforcement authority you're acting under but it's a legal problem as well, for example BMC 12.24.040 requires a clear distance of 8ft above sidewalks. FWIW, I'm asking for 6ft. The transportation plan also weighs in on this, Table 5 Pedestrian Zone Design Parameters "Clear space for all pedestrian travel, should be clear of any and all fixed obstacles." I didn't think it was necessary to be so explicit but they were -- "any and all" definitely includes branches that extend 6 inches into your eye sockets. The specific undesirability of having fixed obstacles extending over the sidewalk exactly at eye height *for any distance* has been explicitly acknowledged and i can't believe i'm trying to point this out today. Anyways i really do appreciate that this has seen already more enforcement action than the whole city put together before about 2022 but if this is what compliance looks like then we have a problem.

When turning south from 15th street to N Madison Street, there is a bush that makes it difficult to see the southbound traffic on N Madison Street. This creates a hazard when completing this turn. If possible , please trim or remove this bush. Thank you!

This is a repeat of ureport #204475... Regarding the bridge over the train tracks where Rogers becomes Madison, between 11th and 13th street. The bike lane was painted again today, and again it was painted incorrectly. The technicians have not been following the engineered design, and as a result the merge zone has gone missing. This is important to let cyclists and drivers both know that the bike lane ends. It's also important to provide a suggestion for where the merge should occur -- it is much safer to merge at low speed and high visibility at the top of the hill than at high speed and low visibility just past the crest. Using this intersection is very difficult when heading north on Madison to turn left to go west on 17th st. Theirs is not an adequate turn lane or signal to accommodate how many at peak times want to turn left to head west on 17th st. I know this is being looked at as a part of a whole roadway redesign, but this needs to be prioritized as a part of it. No one can get through and the traffic is infuriating. It is incredibly difficult to head west in this town. Please ensure this is factored into the future plans here.

It is very difficult to turn right here when heading east on 17th to head south on Madison. As this area is redesigned, please keep in mind the need for commuters to get into the city center and make the light. It is often so backed up with the many stoplights in a row on 17th that is becomes difficult to get anywhere at peak times especially. Additionally, the turn radius is increasingly difficult to not hit someone in the turn lane on Madison when turning right from 17th to head south on Madison.
