I just took possession of a home I bought as sidewalk construction on E. Morningside was being completed. The home is at 4021 E. Morningside. It is my understanding the City redid part of the driveway after having to destroy it for sidewalk work. Unfortunately it appears a corner of the drive (front right / SE) is already cracking/chipping/spalling (see photo). I'm requesting the City patch this up before it continues to flake (not huge now but would like addressed so as not to spread) as an area driven over frequently. Otherwise looks fantastic and very happy with the new sidewalk and drive portion. Great neighborhood addition.

High levels of black mold in buildings at springmill apartment complex (specifically the first building with apartments 1-12) The property has been notified but has not responded or offered to clean up the problems. The problem has been a reoccurring one after the property previously cleaned up mold.

A vehicle swiped the street sign at E Third St and S Pleasant Ridge Rd. The sign is now turned around and damaged.

"Head start" for pedestrians. Use the NYC trick, give walkers a 7 second head start before turning the light green. This intersection, the one on the bypass and 10th, and the Kirkwood Walnut crosswalk are just 3 places drivers ignore pedestrians as they only look at cars so they can make right turns. Please. They're going to run us over. Look at Saturdays NYtimes.

Subject: Re: uReport Case #162510 - 3433_E._Third_St._property_needs_owner_attention Mike Arnold -- An update from a coupe weeks past on this address, I have been been busy or else would have sent a message sooner. 2/10/18: I reported to Bloomington Police the north, back of house, doors open. Lower door wide open, upper door open but storm door closed. Officers (six) arrived and cleared the house, Windows are still unlocked and storm windows may be opened as they are not closed in place on nearly all windows. Please make contact with the owner and request that they close all windows and check the two doors so they may be closed and locked. I have mentioned to you in the past, on the lower door, stone wall has fallen and mud prevents storm door to close. This needs attention. Please be more aggressive in your home owner contact. Monitoring this house and follow up on securing the house is now using Police time and resources. Plus my time and others neighbors concern that the house is being entered by homeless and others trespassers. It appears a mess inside and needs attention. If you cannot get results on this homeowner's negligence, see history back to 2004 where the city has sited issues, I will follow up with the Mayor and City legal. This needs to be solved to hold the homeowner accountable for action before something bad happens; house fire, frozen water pipes, trespassers cause issues. If you can, please tell me who the homeowner is and their contact information. I am willing to contact them to discuss issues (as the Neighborhood Association representative) - plus Bloomington Police wish to make contact. The construction remediation materials protecting a storm sewer drain back near the railroad tracks has been disreguarded and run over by the Duke trucks. This is at a low spot and often floods. The staw baffles and warning posts have been flattened by the work equipment. I pointed it out to crew members and they did not show concern or fix it.
