trash in lot on North Fess between 12th and 13th on the eas side of the street
Empty boxes, furniture and trash in the tree row on Fess Street between 9th and 10th Streets.
Street Light on Fess St from 17th St to 13th St
Trash is left out all the time in the 500 block of N. Fess between 9th and 10th St. (on the west side of Fess St.). Residents started doing this once Sanitation stopped alley pick up.
There is junk and cars in the yard behind 221 Kennedy Drive. The problem is next door to 2521 N. Fritz Drive.
Thank you for the all-way stop controls at the Fairview/11th intersection south/east of the railway! This has been a huge improvement to the intersection. Can we get a marked crosswalk just south/east of the railway bridge to cross from the north corner to the east corner (as shown on my laughably cartoony mark-up)? I know that this intersection has been considered recently, so there may be a reason why a marked crosswalk was not recommended. But if there is not a good reason, a marked crosswalk here would be so helpful.
There is racist graffiti on the bottom of the train trestle at N Fairview and W 11th.
Thank you to the Streets Division for the new curb ramps at the corners of North Fairview Street and West 11th Street around the underpass under the railroad! Can we please get a marked crosswalk across 11th Street on the southeast side of the railroad bridge, to connect two of the new curb ramps?
The intersection could benefit from a white stop bar on the street's south corner. It is a two-way stop and we regularly see drivers run the intersection, without regarding the stop sign. It's possible the stop sign is also partly obscured by nearby tree limbs. But a white stop bar being painted would improve the visibility as well. This intersection is often very busy with car traffic, pedestrians (many children) and pets being walked. An accident is inevitable but could be avoided. The recent stop bars painted nearby under the overpass seems to have improved the traffic flow there. Thank you.
There is a lot of high speed traffic on West 13th Street between Rogers and Maple and I believe it is unsafe for the neighborhood. I live at the intersection of 13th and Fairview with my son who is developmentally disabled, so it is even more concerning for me to have cars zipping by at speeds far too high for residential areas. I believe a 4-way stop would solve the problem and request that you consider this.
