People do not use the turn lane as a turn lane. They instead go straight and then turn south bond 69 exit. This blocks people who are using the road properly and causes traffic Jams and close calls every time I drive this road.
111? E. Kirkwood: Some sort of restaurant runoff (floor cleaning water?) is dumped from behind Opi Taylor's/Malibu. This goes on year round, but creates a sheet of ice in the winter (as it is today). The water runs/ices in front of an empty lot, so no one deals with the sidewalk. It's approx. 111? E. Kirkwood, just past the alley behind Book Corner, just at the start of the parking lot next to CVS. I originally reported this in 2017, I guess before it was cold. ureport#161324 and I was told it was runoff from an AC unit, which I think we can be sure is not the case in today's weather. I'm a daily walker from the near westside to campus. This is an ongoing problem. I really would like someone to just take some responsibility for either the initial liquid or the ice that results. Re ticket #203149, how is this and other tickets continually closed when someone has to maintain the roadway for public use. This isn’t a private no entry roadway. Who has to maintain this for use? If our car breaks down in this hole are we to sue Simon properties? Someone has to have an answer aside from “streets doesn’t do this”. Engineering, another dept.?
While removing the bush honeysuckle from behind this guard rail and into the preserve the erosion from stormwater runoff was noticed. How can we look to mitigate this drainage issue? I can email a photo and video but, attempting to submit it in this report isn’t working.
This is admittedly a minor issue, but why in the world has this sign been posted on the trail, outside, in late December 2024? Weird!

Describe Pothole or Hazard: Multiple pot holes that have been reported for years. To the point that it’s hitting my rim while driving. There are so many you cannot even dodge them. Huge hazard for animals, elderly and children in the area. Something needs to be done!
There is still a trip hazard on the overpass, adjacent to the convention center, near the steps. Sometimes there’s a cone over it but the cone goes away. Sometimes there’s a broken cover which is better than nothing. But now there’s nothing at all.
There is still a hole in the sidewalk near the steps. It’s quite deep. I’ve complained before. Sometimes it’s covered with a cone but then the cone goes away. Why can’t the city put a true cover on this tripping hazard? Thank you.
This overpass is an icy mess. Isn’t this city property? I see other reports about this that have been closed; how can you close a report before you fix it? Please fix it or put up a sign naming it Fracture Overpass.
